The GM here played in my game for a bit, then had to leave..a bit later started this... so you'll be familiar  with the set up. The Story line is a bit differant..The Humans  went to war against the Demons  and thier Empire...helped By the Angels who 1000s of years ago had used  Earth for a penal colony. It is a darker  game, semi-freeform  with my own system

the game is set up, so when   new folks come in, that have been transferred in for some reason.. The Character   and Player learn as they go..of cours e some stuff the charcter  would know from Vid  ect ect.

 My game  has   some rhgeat Vets  who help new  folks out..and , at least on eplayer is from here.

 Again? If this game  starts up again,  I hope any  who come to my game  will return here. But  My game is pretty active, and  will give you some RP time , until  we can return.

yeah..its odd.. names  were changed from player  to NPC.. only the GM can do that.  Apple  was the first to go when it looked  like things were gonna get rough?.. and then he was an 'NPC"

 so?.. some one's doing  housekeeping... I said it before, be nice.. even if he got some one to let us know how he is... screw the game  right now... then?  find out if he'll be back.

I think that's the 3rd time I've noticed the "Last log in" date change since the start of June (though it may have changed more often). So someone is definitely around.

Not sure why they haven't posted here though. Even just a single line to let us know what's up.

I did wonder if it could be mods changing things due to player requests but for now I'd rather believe it is the GM and he's just struggling to spend any amount of time online. Maybe he is doing all the background maintenance in tiny pieces before he let's us get all excited that he's back.

Maybe he's struggling to catch up with all the posts that have happened since he left?

well? since he left its been just a couple of us talking...it  could be  mods?   I guess  we won't know.  but , if it  gets to teh 1 year thing , since his last post?.. we  gott  figure that its over.

As those monitoring the forum thread regarding this notice will know, the previous planned migration did not go ahead due to performance and reliability issues with the selected host.  As a result we had to go back to the drawing board and select a new host.

We've been running the test site off a new host based in New York for a while now and are very comfortable with the reliability and performance it has provided.  As a result (and the point of this message)...

The website will be migrating to the new server in approximately 24 hours.

A maintenance notice will appear when the migration is about to happen.  Be aware that the site will stay under maintenance until the migration completes, which might take up to thirty minutes.  Unfortunately there is no way to shorten this maintenance window as there is a large volume of data to migrate.  Once the migration is completed the maintenance notice will clear and you will be free to continue on as normal.  Those using https may also see a brief website unavailable message as the web certificate is installed.
