Your average gym. Weights, mats, a running track.

Gym

Lee was delighted that she had the gym all to hetself. Making best use of the facilities she enjoyed an undisturbed ninety minute workout. Afterwood she was showering and noticed something wasn't quite right, which she'd need to ask the doctor about.

Shaking the last of the cobwebs from his brain with a yawn,Hans arrives in the gym around 5:45.
Bag slung over his shoulder,he leans against a treadmill, waiting for others to arrive or if a officer is in the room he stand straighter by the treadmill.

Gym

Looking like he hadn't slept all night Stephen Cornell dragged himself into the gym, reluctant. Being a civilian he knew he had to get in shape like the rest of them, but without a proper military background he had a very real fear it was going to be very hard on him.
Seeing only one other person yet he dropped a small bag on a bench near the wall and took out a bottle of water. Sipping it he waited.

Gym

Following in right after Cornell Major Tom Ascott looked a lot fresher. Wearing olive drab shorts and shirt, on standard white sneakers, he came prepared. So did the eight marines in his wake. As one they fell in line, waiting for his orders. Seeing he was early, it was after all only 05.45, he decided to start with some laps around the barracks Gym, the marines in tow.

Looking as if he got up half an hour ago, Blake walks slowly into the gym, and waits for it all to start. Really, his head is spinning with schemes to find the culprits of our current situation, hopefully this won't be too engaging.

Walking into the GYm, he  puts the  Juice box into recycle.  and looks  around at the folks who are around.

giving a  g'day to those who  knew  and a Nod to those he hadn't met yet, on his way over to the Major. He looked around for  any kind of football to toss  around...

Gym

Mumbling something incoherent about a bad knee to doctor Genassi, Captain Dorn trots into the gym, dragging a reluctant bridge crew with him. Technicians mostly, they look like he is sending them off to hell itself, all the while nestling himself comfortably on the bench next to Cornell. They hesitate, but when he orders them to do some laps they comply.
Genassi quickly joins the marines in their laps as well, warming up for what he expects to be a tough first training since waking up.

One of the technicians, wearing a worn Manchester City shirt, notices Shadow kicking a ball about and joins him in a simple contest of one-on-one soccer.
Slowly more and more people trickle in.

Gym

<< From: Nieves' quarters

The sight that greeted Micaela once she had arrived in the gym caused her to roll her eyes; though a moment later she regretted it. The regimented military life didn't sit well with her, and the thought of running laps first thing in the morning seemed more like mental conditioning than physical conditioning, but she supposed it was probably for the best.

As long as they were all on the same side she wanted them prepared and ready for anything that might come at them. But she found it hard to not wonder what would happen if the guys with the guns decided that they weren't on the same side as those without.

The woman didn't suppress the concern or dwell on it, she simply let it rattle around in her head until it was spent and another took its place. Over the course of 10 minutes she considered no less than the state of Marco, how angry Lou was going to get when Micaela called her Lou to her face, whether she should actually do some exercise of her own, whether wearing the same clothing two days in a row would count as a fashion faux pas in this brave new world, if there were places on Marco that Marco was programmed to be blind to, if one of these sweating young men would get her knocked up for the propagation of the human species and what kind of mother she would be.

Not might be, would be. She thought she was okay with the notion that she didn't really have a choice in the matter (or more appropriately, that by choosing to hitch a ride on the Marco Polo she had chosen to help with the whole continuation of the human race thing), that the survival of the species depended on the diversity of the gene-pool, but as a shudder passed through her it was clear that she still had some emotional issues to work through. This thought she did actively chase away, focusing on the gym around her and relieved to find that the meeting was about to start.
