Cryo Chambers
"Alrighty, thanks Marco." Eric replies without fully processing what the AI had said. He begins to clumsily climb down from his cryo-pod still gazing around at the vast chamber in awe.
Taking a moment he tried once again to organize his thoughts speaking aloud softly as he did so.
"Let's see, follow the arrows to the shower and then to medical... Orange arrows, check. Gonna need that jumpsuit. Huh, looks like the one I used to wear for the Car Clinic back west...
Back. on. Earth.. I mean."
As his hands grab hold of the jumpsuit, the rest of what the AI had said register and Eric stands bolt upright.
"Uhhh... Marco?... What time did you say it was again?" His mind starts racing, calculating, hoping he had heard wrong. That couldn't have been right. "And the year?"
He slowly starts to step into the jumpsuit taking another look around the enormous room he's in and all of the thousands of cold, almost lifeless pods but this time instead of awe, he suddenly feels very much alone. A feeling he had thought he would be far more comfortable with.
