We already have plenty of weapon specialists and medics, so no more of those please :)

I don't think we have any of the custom Guardsman class, although I'd not recommend a newbie try that class.  We could always use another heavy (a heavy flamer would be pretty badass)

Don't forget if they choose to use the Zakurian template they could go Weapons Specialist and just make a Heavy Weapon part of their standard kit...

Speaking of Heavy Flamers.

What's the point in them?  They have 10 meters more range. a +1 more to dmg and +2 to pen, 4 more shots and +39kg more weight compared to a plain old Flamer.  That's a whole lotta weight to haul around for not much increase to what it can do know what I mean?

The effective +3 to damage and +125% to flamed area would speak for itself, methinks.  Admittedly, it's more useful when you're riding in a vehicle that has a heavy flamer as a mounted weapon so you don't need to worry about the weight.

Also, no roll to hit.  A Heavy flamer is the perfect ranged  weapon for a BS 20/Wp 50 build that roasts bugs and isn't afraid of no-one. :P

No point in being in the closet, the Emperor demands you burn it loud and proud!

Also, bring a pistol for CQC.  Just in case our flamers prove ineffective.  Speaking of which..maybe we should req some exterminator cartridges?

Out of town tonight, so my next IC post will either be Sunday night or Tuesday night.

I'll monitor this with my phone, though, so when we get close to 1k posts I'll flip the switch.

New folks: I'll go over your sheets in the next few days, but feel free to post OOC and ask as many questions as you'd like. There's three new active players and one lurking with an old pal's character, so we should be good to go on the next mission.

Hey guys. While my posts lately seem like a bit of "Look at me!" theater, don't be discouraged to get involved. These aren't exactly hushed tones they're speaking in and are really only so long because I keep getting caught up with finding out and developing who they are as characters.

Dont worry, it is very realistic that the other units would think the Zak's a bit odd given their high amount of cyberware.

That said, I'm going with Respiratory Filtration units on my for ignoring toxins and pollution.

You know, I just realized that because Square and Emilia are from the Cadian 99th, they have to pass a WP test to not get the implants, because it would be disobeying (what they are interpreting as) an order.

Well you could have them come around to the idea...the two medics of the unit are standing right there who likely know more about the procedure than anyone else there and in some regards might be better raw medical than the ones putting in the mods.

Those bastards are good just because they have pristine medbays with all the toys giving them massive bonuses ;)

I still haven't decided but I'm leaning towards Memorance Implant, Locator Matrix or Maglev Coils for Zilch and Subskin Armour, Autosangine or Bionic Heart for Everest.

Nope AC is still deciding on the matter.

Still as long as no one dies before he makes the decision most xp gains on them won't actually appear as useful things in game except for wounds/toughness.
