Well...the munitions depot did blow up so we may not get back a full compliment of magazines or grenades at this juncture.

Or perhaps...

Since our manufacturing ask was for frags with a bigger blast radius and kraks with another level of concussion to make knocking over big enemies easier we may be the first reequipped with the newly manufactured ammo.

Picking up a new Heavy would be great. Plus, since we're getting transferred, a new addition to the squad would have an easier entrance than in the middle of the fray.

Let's continue and not delay.  Long delays while waiting for PC creation can cause other problems.

I would limit potential recruits to either heavy and/or a Sarge.

But as long as we get assigned missions that fit our skills sets, we can do without either.

I think even a sarge is debatable, if Jansen's coming along he fills that role nicely.  I'd argue that without at least one active heavy our squad's combat ability is going to be effectively zero unless we're a sniper/arty squad(waitaminute....)

I mean, unless we are fighting off tanks, our sniper, plasma, and grenade launcher are pretty good against armored targets, just not tank armor.

Monday and Wednesday are busy from wake til sleep for me. I went to bed at 1 am last night and still had things to do.

Tonight I have a benefit dinner for a local politician I used to hate but now tolerate. Then Skype and play Grim Dawn online with my brother til 10:30. Then finish prepping the module I'm running tomorrow after work. :/

Hey that was me!  But in all fairness they were 100+ meters away from me. I didn't realize they could sprint 90 meters or something crazy with their special adrenal glands.

Also, I didn't tell him one way or another on the difficulty.  But let's just say, we didn't die in our first mission, but that was only due to some very stellar rolling on our end.  A couple bad rolls would have been a TPK to be honest.  The fights are quite intense.

We are in the 'downtime' portion of the campaign, so posts from me occur about every three days. During combat, that ramps up to about every 36-48 hours, depending on the soldiers' activity.

I'm off tomorrow, so I'll put up some stuff to make you guys smile before lunch. :)

Howdy Sarge.  Glad you are on board as well.  We've had a rotating door at that role, so don't let us down!

Also, if you take 1 to 3 of these, the rest of us will love you lots.  These are free action super buffs that make us not die and do more killing.  Best exp you'll ever spend.
