I know they say that a plan never survives contact with the enemy but this is ridiculous!

I thought Grock was going to lure them out into the open space where we started and now everyone has dashed in to the most enclosed space they can find.  What gives?

I saw everyone had followed him into the hallway instead of staying in the other room, so...I just decided to hold the front line with Dral. But at least this may clump up the enemy for burst attacks.

At least we knocked out one and injured the others first.

I didn't realize it was about drawing them into an open area, just about drawing them out, which I thought had been accomplished. The hallway seems to me like a good place to take them on. If anyone would like to be on the front line instead of Dral, he can attack from a square away (though he can't get his combat challenge attacks in at a distance).

If the rest of you can take out the Orc in front of Dral, I can knock the other Orc away from unchaining the ogre. Might buy us more time.

I'll take Dral's readied dagger attack against the orc that attacked Dral. If that's wrong, just cancel the effect and move us along.
Strike that. It was missed and I'm not sure how it would work with the turn that just happened, given how it changes initiative order. I'll just act during the player turn.

Also, I guess I'm fine where I am, but I thought I moved into the hall, not the room. Perhaps this is due to the numbers not lining up with the squares. H10, to me, is in the hall, as counted from the wall at the top of the page. But my current spot on the map is just as protected as a hallway space, it doesn't really matter.

When you say "take" do you mean "kill" or just "get him away from you so you don't proc an opportunity attack"?

Because I can do the second thing from where I'm standing...probably toss the unchainer around too.

Would it be better if I had him stroll out past you into the room where Espera and Warfryn could blast him? Thoughts?

Preferably any way or where Grock won’t get attacks of Opportunity on him for dealing with the one trying to free the ogre.

Okay, just reread my forced movement spell and it's a Close Blast 5.

Only way that I can cast the spell will target Dral and Grock as well, taking six damage and letting me push them three squares if I hit.  Now, six damage isn't a ton...and hey, free movement, but I figure I should ask before putting you guys in danger.

I recommend against moving me. We don't want the orcs surrounding us.

Then my power is a better fit. I'll bring him into the hallway where we can pummel him at will, assuming I hit.

Have a question in to the DM via private message; once I get it, I'll attack the orc with Command.

Sounds good. We need to kill him fast because he can flank with someone outside the room until he's dead.

Grock or Dral, do you want some free movement or a free charge? I can use my AP to do the latter or my move action for the former.

I was going to post my action but noticed there is no stat block for the Orc currently trying to unchain the ogre. Can his stat block be added please? Don’t know if it’s the same as the others.

That's because the map positions are mostly wrong.  There are still 4 orcs on the map although one should be dead.

I presume the orc at H12 is the one that was at H5; since he would presumably have walked straight forward.  He is therefore the one cursed by Warfryn.

And so the orc at D7, trying to free the ogre, must be the orc listed at G5.

This would put orc 2 at H12 (cursed), Orc 3 at I5 and orc 4 at G7

Warfryn according to the map is at H15, Greyband at I15, Espera at H16, Dral at H10 and Grock at I10.

I fixed OR2's location in the stat block.

Hey, folks: please use the stat block from the last person to post, not the DM's.

I updated Orc Raider 2's position. Grock should have used my stat block for him, not the DM's.
