Stahl Tropfstein:
Edit: Disregard. Thanks for posting, Malphurious!
Malphurious:
No offense but when there lots of mistakes it's hard to post.......
It happens. Is there anything that would make it easier to post when there are lots of mistakes?
Malphurious:
F5 is a pew by the way. F5 is 4 across the top from the left, then down 2. There is a huge disconnect from what I'm seeing and what Vyn is posting. Ignatz is posting coherent square references.
Did you have specific questions that you'd like clarified? Can a player clarify, or do you need the GM to clarify?
Maybe it would help if it could be decided that either the map or the text takes precedence when it comes to certain facts, or if players could on their turn, post descriptions and modify the map to what they think is correct.
Again, I have to quote this.
- Would it solve the issue to simply remove the lettering and numbers? Simply put A1 is the top left square and thus even on phone(tested this), it will always be the same regardless of size? Seems like a simply fix to something that seems to take way to much time to be honest.
- Promoting fun and crazy combat above discussing things to death - hence why I prefer the 48 hour deadline
FROM MY INITIAL ROUND POST. It keeps the pace up and the game does not stagnate. This to me seems like a solid way to approach the intent of 4e combat - both strategy but also promote action and options. Someone to jump on a pew and go all nuts or use tables in an inn to their advantage - I promote this by adding it to the sidebar of the map.
- I added a small boxer kind of dog for you Stahl. I found it fitting.
Again, suggestions - are always welcome, as they make the game better for the all of us.
