Re: Out of Character thread

Warfryn saw Vynthear head to the inn and followed (msg 60)

Then the Lord turned up and led the group back to the barracks (I missed this bit hence was not sure where Warfryn was.  But he is with the group.

quote:
Being new to the group, he hasn't had much to say.

??  He has been in the group quite a while i.e. since the start!  But being small is often ignored.

I don't need to go line for line through Ignatz's questions, but I would like to make sure we get them all answered :)

Re: Out of Character thread

  1. Whether any kidnapped people are still alive unknown, they took ten, the same number required for the conjuring of the hounds
  2. whether Karalel is at the Keep yes
  3. whether there's a secret entrance we could use to sneak into the keep so we don't alert all 20 hobgoblins at once there's none
  4. whether there are any other locations where this cult is operating besides the Keep and the two sites that we already cleared out. none 1.
  1. I have no idea which 'second burial suite' Ingantz is referring to IC

Only #1 remains, right ?
Unless someone else has further questions ?

I assume either the graveyard or the burialsite where you also found the crate Bairwin asked for.

To me - the scene is clear.
Go to the keep and/or deal with Bairwin. You have deducted this much, so once you are in agreeance, I will present a scene for it. The keep warrants a new thread, Bairwin can be handled in the current however.

Let's wrap up the "around town" portion before heading to the keep.

Re: Out of Character thread

The third reaper seems to be caught in the middle of some squares.

Based on the little box on the map, we're all suffering a -2 to hit unless we get some light up in here.  A sunrod or the like will be a worthwhile use of someone's turn to negate that penalty as it will raise the effective damage per turn quite significantly for the course of the battle. Best to get it off now.

Also, small room, looks like we'll have to grind our way through the tanks to get to their backline.  I can use driving attack to possibly push one of the baddies back a total of 3 squares (assuming I hit with both attacks) to create an opening.

Edit - Also, with teh small room, AOE = good, but we need to create some space between us in case they are AOE'ing back.

As Eladrin I have low-light vision and thus would be oblivious to the need for light.

Re: Out of Character thread

If a tie is in place, it leans towards the one with the highest initiative modifier before rolling. If that is a tie also, then I guess it is a GM call.

Oups, it is -2 on each damage die, not attack rolls...
Still, servant missed, all others hit.
Will roll damage asap

So guys if I move and charge I can hop onto the altar and hit Bairwin- do you think I should wait to rush him?

Re: Out of Character thread

Athletics to jump over them- the DC to clear one square is low enough that I can almost guarantee that I'll pass all three checks, and I have +2 speed on charges. My math assumes that I can get to at least L7 with my move action.

Ah yes, correct. As part of a move action. Although you will risk OA's thought since you can not parse through unoccupied or adjacent squares. But alas, barbarians have their things.

Exactly - correct and always go all out, and don't look back. There is sooo much that can keep you in it to win it, and you might as well try all sorts of stuff to get the job done.
