The world's name is Asteria and uses the Dawn War Pantheon. In recent years a dark and evil presence has overtaken the lands, A Teifling by the name of Kerandos who claims direct lineage to Asmodeus himself and that through this he is the be master of all that exists.

Despite the efforts of many to stop him and his army his rule has come to pass through much bloodshed and war. Many races are treated as low class citizens primarily Elves, Dwarves, Halflings and Gnomes.

Kerandos, now Emperor of Brimstone Citadel; the capital of his domain rules in the name of his father and while other gods are not outright banned, any religion that would instil chaos or rebellion among the populace is rooted out by his inquisition.
