Don't wait for a post on my part ha ha. I figure that the others (especially Jayfie) have a bit more to contribute at the moment anyway.

I just realized I never got around to posting the "official" rules for improvement, so some of you might be wondering what the little + signs next to your stats mean.  Check it out in the updated Rules and Mechanics section, and let me know if you have any questions!

So the plus signs are the points right.

Yes.  If you, for whatever reason, gain a point towards improving something on your character sheet, it will show a plus sign.

Am I right to assume we're winding down the day's events? Should we start wrapping up the scenes before moving to the next day?

I think your characters should assume that, yes.

Whether or not that's a valid assumption may be a different story :)

As we definitely wind down the day's events that are winding down (no really, you can trust me, would the GM lead you astray?), you all will likely go your separate ways for a bit (shh, don't think of it as splitting the party; you've just got Big Important Things you need to do on your own).

Anyway, I've assigned a bunch more groups to your characters, so you'll be able to have individual threads that the others won't be privy to.

Keep having fun!

A quick note on currency, as this is going to start cropping up soon:  the villages like Harkshire primarily use a barter system to exchange goods and services, but the kingdom does officially have a coinage system in place, and bartering is much less common in larger cities and towns.  In recent years, even some villages have started to use coins, and so it wouldn't seem odd for any of your characters to place value on such things.

I'll use a generic copper-silver-gold value structure, with 1 gold = 10 silver = 100 copper.  The sum total of everything any of your characters owns is probably less than a single gold piece (Jayfie might be an exception, since the forge in his city actually belongs to him, but none of that value came with him on his trip to Harkshire).

I just noticed the dice rolls and it seems like Jack is in quite an interesting situation. :)

Kinda, yeah. Creating a "heroic shepherd" story already ;)

In all honesty, it kind of reminds me of reading about Celtic or even some Viking folk tales. Like someone trying to hide and pretend to be a dog to avoid an attacker. Less brave warrior's in combat and more jokester's who use their wit to get themselves out of the bad situations they somehow got themselves into.

Anyways I hope you all are enjoying your session's. I know I am

Well, in this case he's actually more pretending to be a dog to get into a bad situation, but it's pretty close. It did tilt the situation a bit in his favour.

I'm enjoying it too. Did not see the stuf that's happening to Jack now coming, but definitely enjoying it.

Definitely wasn't expecting what happened with Gwen...although I'm hardly complaining. It's been a lot of fun.

For the record, he came up with the dog thing all on his own.

I'm glad to hear you guys are having fun!

Well what else was he supposed to do when he found himself in a "ruff" situation? XP

Thank you, thank you, I'll be here all week.

Good on you, Amalia, for letting everyone know when you'll be out!

If only your GM were so thoughtful...

(sorry everyone - but I'm here again now)

This Draft you mention is it something I'm aware of or is there a way you want to go about fixing it. Or is it just Stewart's mother trying to find stuff for him to do so he won't head back into town.

She mentioned it when you first got home, in the same breath as the "go fetch firewood" line.

It's just her being a bit of a nag.

Hey. There comes a time in every hero's life when they have to ignore their parents.
