Re: OOC

Yeah, basically so long as your scene has rotated you can continue I think. Depending on the scene. But for the time being it's fine.

Me: Eve is ready with her sword and ready to throw down.

It can be subtle if she has sharp nails, so she just tightens her fist really tight until her nails cut her.

Re: OOC

I'm a little torn if I should do player search or not.
Part of me thinks we have a good number for this sort of game, and a decent party make up. The other part thinks 1 or 2 more couldn't hurt.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Re: OOC

If we are counting Aimee still in, then I think our current number is good.

If she is probably not continuing, maaaaybe get 1 more. But more characters makes it a bit harder for characters to form meaningful bonds while the story progresses. Maybe wait a bit until the party gets formed and if something feels like it is missing put out a search.

Re: OOC

I was reminded of Eves question and I was wondering if you guys have a preference.
I do current have Nezaria and Team Fearless separate.

Which do you prefer?
Character separate posts? Eg. Post as Amleth, post as Nezaria, have separate GM posts to move things along or for one off characters?
Or the same as I've been doing, with one big post with everything?

I'm sure there will be instances where bug posts are preferable, but would smaller individual posts be less chaotic?

Re: OOC

RN I am good with keeping it as is. Having the posts in a big block keeps the posting consistent so for example, Eno's conversation with Amleth doesn't zoom ahead faster than Neva and Hale's storytelling. Also, too many separate NPCs might increase the amount they talk to each other which can end up making a game more about the NPCs than the PCs (I'm not too concerned about that for this particular game though).

Another option could be create one for each major NPC character for when they are the primary actor in a scene. So if we are exclusively dealing with Nezaria, then posts come from her, including minor characters & GM moving things along. The center of attention could shift in the scenes and the character could change. I haven't seen a lot of games do this... maybe it ends up being confusing?

The only easy change that may be an improvement I could think of is: when the action is split (like it is now) add a bit of a header indicating which characters are the primary actors in the scene (incl. NPCs and potentially PCs).

Like right now its,
"Amleth, Eno"
"Audience, Neva, Hale"
"Nezeria, Alice, Masked"

I didn't forget about Eve. But unsure where to place her; she seems more interested in Eno and Amleth at the moment, but could also join with Neva and Hale.

Long story short. I do not have much preference and spent way too much time typing :D

Re: OOC

Big block posts seems convenient for you and not a hindrance to us (so long as you keep referring to the people in the paragraph that are in the scene. Which you do) so I'll say this.

Individual posts if you want to pad the post count and thus make the game look bigger and possibly attract more people by making them think "wow twenty thousand posts that's a busy RP it won't die so we should join." Unaware secretly fifteen thousand if those posts are yours GM MUAHAHAHA!!!

otherwise the way we're doing it is fine.

Re: OOC

Alright! I'll keeping going as is. Though I might label it like Eno says, cause that just sounds more organized.
I've seen both methods work, and was wondering if having a big block might be a pain or inconvenient to others in this particular game.
Thanks!

Re: OOC

Just a heads up it's recently been brought to my attention I made a mistake.
Aimee was not with the party after the battle with the dragon rider.
So she's in town, somewhere

New update I was wrong again, due to the retcon, Aimee was with the party after the fight

Re: OOC

I'll keep the tavern conversation moving to a degree so Aimee, Eno, and Eve can do more, but I'm keeping it open so Neva and Hale can hop in whenever.

I'll do it when I wake up, so if anyone wants to get a post in, here's your chance.
