Celador Qiris:
So I am confused. Celador was knocked prone, does he use his movement to stand up or does he use his action to stand up?
As Lazaret mentioned, half your movement to get up.
quote:
i.e. can he stand up and then attack?
Absolutely!
quote:
If there are two attacks against him and he fails the first STR save is there a need to roll a second?
No. You can't be doubly prone.
quote:
If he fails, then stands, does he need to roll the second?
No.
quote:
If he fails, then stands, then fails again, can he stand up again (assuming that standing up is movement and not action)?
This is not applicable since you can only be knocked prone once in any round and therefore only have to get up once (at a cost of 1/2 movement) in the subsequent round.
quote:
If it is movement then I will edit to stand back up and remove disadvantage.
It is, so edit accordingly.
quote:
If I need to roll the second STR save after standing up then let me know.
You don't.
I'd say clear as the murky water back in the pool room with the entangling vines.
For what it's worth, being knocked prone would be a bigger deal if the wolves attacked one at a time. In that case, if the first one knocked you prone successfully, then the all subsequent melee attacks would be at advantage (and ranged attacks at disadvantage). Logistically this isn't practical for rpol (take too long for us to go back and forth multiple time each round). Furthermore, since the wolves get advantage for pack tactics anyway, there isn't really any payoff for them.
So more than anything, being prone is just a situation that adds a little dramatic flair to the battle!
