Re: OCC (don't expect a new thread, it ain't happening)
Don't sweat it.  I don't mind.  I just wanted to make sure I was tracking correctly and wasn't confused.  I get picky that way.  ;)

My game reply has been edited to reflect his 2nd round of concentration.

Besides, now the Fortune Teller is right twice in a row between Dicra's annoying-ness and Sando's time traveling.  If Dicra can manage to save the day, we'll have to buy the 'woman' a new booth.

We're missing Otis and Sobekneferu. I'll wait til the 3rd to see if they'll act and move along either way.

Otis has been removed for now as he hasn't logged in in a few weeks. Just holding on Sobekneferu now.

Re: OCC (don't expect a new thread, it ain't happening)
No prob. It has been for me as well. Was up at 0600 yesterday, fought with daughter till 0830 to go to a Dr appt at 0930. Talked with Dr and got her to school, kicking and screaming, before heading to work at 1100. Was almost done at 2000 when got the call that someone else had broken down and I would have to get their pickup. Got off at 2215 and finally in bed by 2330 just to turn around and get back up at 0500.

Ugg. . .

Usually I get to bed around 0200, and am up before or by 0630.

Did I end up getting out of sync too? Is GM going to use that crap roll I got for this round?

Re: OCC (don't expect a new thread, it ain't happening)
Heh, problem of a different nature for me.

I've got a hyperfocus / Asperger combo, so basically whatever I'm doing has 100% of my attention to the point where I skip breaks and meals and am easily sidetracked. When I'm busy I literally can't tell the difference between 5 minutes and 2 hours.

So yeah, most of the time when I feel tired and want to go to bed, I've finished what I was doing, and at that point I get thoughts like "Oh right, I promised I'd post!" and end up doing a 3 am posting run on RPoL.

I mean, I could delay it until the next day, but by then it's "Ohh shiny! *distracted*" again so...

Oh Lando, I thought I'd responded.

No, you're good. Go ahead and post and I'll give you to this evening before I continue.

"Hercules Busts Heads was a GREAT show!  And like all GREAT shows, it got cancelled after one season!"-approximation of a quote by Hermes (played by Nathan Fillion)-Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters

I'll be traveling for the next week and a half. I don't think it's really going to slow my posting down much, but it might.

Jarvin spent his time working the farm so his younger siblings could go to school.  Just because he does not know how to read, that does not mean his vocabulary is limited.

Re: OCC (don't expect a new thread, it ain't happening)
Hey guys. Sorry I've been quite. Well, I had my DOT physical and my BP came back unusually high. I suspected this was going to happen as I'm fat and had been just under the max for awhile. Now I have to exercise and stuff and I just won't have the time to run two games. Since this is the one that hasn't been around as long, this one has to go.

Thank you for your time and I won't delete this game in case I find time in the future, but I will be deleting the story thus far.

Sorry to do this, but I've got to get my BP down or I won't be able to work. . . So there's that.

Hopefully I can get it under control soon and we can see about getting this back up and running, but right now I've got to figure this all out.

Re: OCC (don't expect a new thread, it ain't happening)
Well, that's a shame.  For a new (to me) system, it seems interesting, and I'm enjoying playing Jarvin.
Here's to hoping it can get restarted.

Re: OCC (don't expect a new thread, it ain't happening)
Same. Sobekneferu ended up being pretty interesting, and i like how she's turned out both in her mutations and her general style of play. So if we're restarting, i'm bringing her back in again :)

Just out of curiosity, what mutations did everyone have? If we're going to restart at some point it would make sense to timeskip past the Hoppy Land part to where we're all at least partially familiar with one another. In such a case i should mention Sobekneferu has no intention of handing over half her stuff: She's pretty good in terms of combat, better if she's in a group, and when all else fails she has a Base Speed of 15 so there's that too.

Re: OCC (don't expect a new thread, it ain't happening)
Here's hoping you're able to get the numbers back to where you need them.

In the meantime we'll just chalk this up to Sando freezing the artifact, having it explode and killing all the Hoops, so that we can say the Fortune Teller was right and the Day was Saved.

Of course everyone will give Dicra the credit seeing as he always comes across as the strong, silent type.  Sneaky too.  So probably something he would do.  :p

Re: OCC (don't expect a new thread, it ain't happening)
I got these:

Physical:
65 - Photosynthetic Skin - +50% damage from lasers, 3 hours/day in sunlight feeds me for a day

Mental:
40 - Mass Mind - Add 7 (5 + MP mod) to other character's mutation power
48 - Mental Multiplier - Add 5 (5 + MP mod) to other character's MP score
74 - Telekinetic Hand - Manipulate objects 25 + 5 (5 + MP mod) meters away, 5 PS, 11 DX
65 - Stunning Force - 1/4 hours, stun everyone in 25 + 6 (5 + MP mod) meters for 1d6 rounds

Yes, i actually rolled BOTH Mutation Power boosters in five rolls. I used Private Lines for it, but back during the fight i was giving Lando one bonus and Sando the other :P
