Mmmmeat tubes n hammocks, good times. At my friends BBQ, a fellow brought hamburger stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon. They were delicious.

Re: [OOC] The Writing Room: OOC Thread
So.. finally got to see Wonder Woman (like, ages after everyone else).

Fucking Finally a DC movie of the new continuity where the protagonist acts, behaves, and shares the motivations of the fucking character they are portraying.

That? awesome, ditto for the acting of the good guys.

Structurally? Pacing-wise? movie was pretty damn good, theme-wise? great.
Action-wise it was... average. Not great but nothing terrible.

Villain-wise tho... villain-wise it's a dumpster fire.

Ok, Ok, I'll admit that it's better than a Joker impersonator pretending to be Luthor or the cheap knockoff that was Doomsday, but those aren't exactly high bars.

The color work is shit as well, but that's something it shares with the others.

Batman v. Superman did lead to one of my favourite lines from a review, though "It turned out to be Murderman versus Captain Hypocrite."

Yeah, I pretty much hated the look of everything in Wonder Woman, and the action all felt fluffy and weightless. Which is really weird, because Gal Gadot is a huge badass who can actually do The Stunts. Like, someone made the choice that the action should all feel cartoony and without consequence.

Re: [OOC] The Writing Room: OOC Thread
It still bugs me that Batman the Animated Series can't be still on television. I know they made two games but there's no reason not to have a show as well. Even the Superman one was awesome.

Am I the only one who hates it that they don't use theme songs anymore? I can forgive it in Transformers because those are terrible anyways, but to not have the X-Men song during any of the movies or the Batman or Superman themes, that breaks my heart.

Re: [OOC] The Writing Room: OOC Thread
Hello All,

As you may have guessed by my lack of response over the past days, I am having trouble budgeting my time among my various commitments. As such, I have to put this game on an indefinite hiatus. I bit off way more than I could chew in the scale and scope of it, and have been unable to deliver on it. This thread will remain open, and I will move the current IC threads into Group 0 so that you can get something out of seeing what your comrades were doing, but unfortunately I cannot continue to GM this game at this time.

I am very sorry,
Chris.

Chris, thank you very much for the time and effort you put into this game. I had a lot of fun. Take care of yourself, I'd love to give it another shot some day.

I don't suppose anyone else is interested in running a M&M game? Doesn't have to be this.

Re: [OOC] The Writing Room: OOC Thread
I sent a very general concept and asked if you were still accepting submissions a while ago. But there were already like 6 players in, which is why I asked before I wrote up a whole rtj.
