Character Name:

Age:

Gender:

Race:

Class/Archetype:

Background: Be detailed!  This is your writing sample.  This is a heavy roleplay game, so give me some good stuff. Include names and places, since it's fun to bring things into the game. No need to write a novel, but make it at least three (3) paragraphs long. It will help me get a feel for your character and help me tailor events and scenarios more suited to you, and the Party overall, and to enhance your play experience. Also include a one paragraph physical description of the character and another paragraph describing his personality.
It should include things like childhood and family information, character goals, fears, previous adventures, wishes etc. PCs will begin knowing each other as a Cormyr-based adventuring group that first got a license from Azoun IV, and now works for him occasionally.

Player experience: tell me a little about your gaming experience, how long have you been playing, which systems you like best, any famous modules you specially liked, etc. Anything that you think will help me understand what kind of game strikes your fancy.

Note: Don't fill out a character sheet. You'll do that once you're accepted.

For this game I want players with at least acceptable writing skills, who do their best to avoid one-line posts. I want you guys to move this story along with me, not to carry you around.

Do try to post at least once a day so that we can keep the game moving; if you can't post one day for any RL reason that's fine, just resume posting ASAP. If you know you will be gone for more than a day, please let me know so that I can plan accordingly. Players who don't post for three (3) days without warning me will forfeit their spot and be replaced.

Also, if you are into min/maxing characters, please find yourself another game. I have a strong dislike for powergamers, and even if you slip past my radar during the applications stage, I will surely recognise you in character generation or during the game itself, and I'll kindly show you the door. So don't waste my time and yours, there are other games out there more suited to your tastes.

As I said elsewhere, I want team players for this game. Interact with your fellow players and cooperate to achieve the party's goals. Your party has been adventuring together for a while now, so any lone wolves would've already left to do their own thing or adapted to a group mentality.

If you have a conflict with another player, please bring it to my attention and I'll try to mediate. Don't attack other players or their characters during IC posts, as that quickly develops into chaos and I will kick out whoever got involved in it.

Last but not least, have fun! Remember that's what we're here for. And help the others have fun too. Develop relationships with the other characters. Make jokes, kid around. If you're not having fun for X reason, I strongly encourage you to bring it to my attention so that I can do something about it.
