Re: The Matrix Room - OOC

The Warden would feel inclined to agree with you, this issue caught him completely flat-footed. It's not so much panic, than genuine concern he expresses - a system takeover of this magnitude could only happen if the independent levels were linked...so either someone, or something, bypassed all existing means and methods of detection and established a network without anyone being the wiser...or there's a traitor or two among Zigursky Staff. Neither sets well with him, the penitentiary is going ballistic all around him though...doesn't seem to phase him (probably why he got the position).

Okay, thread updated...please help keep me honest by keeping track of status, pp and the like. :) UV, pending a reaction roll/post from you regarding the Zig's attack on your person. Aegis, Crimson, Windwalker...how do you proceed, the Detainment Center's a mess, a full blown riot is underway, and there are downed person(s). Who would like to post first... :D

Re: The Matrix Room - OOC

Okay, UV, feel free to go ahead and post your reaction post. Crimson or Windwalker, feel free to decide which among you start the new turn and work from there. I just posted a little exposition because...writing, story, narrative, etc. Has no immediate effect on current existing scenes. :D

Ok, so I can't use any powers and I can't move/act?  Can I do anything at all?

Crimson Fury you go first.

I think that fits with both characters.

Re: The Matrix Room - OOC

Aegis, let's go ahead and get a reaction post from UV before we start the new turn. I'm curious to see what happens...does she survive? Is she injured? Does she blow up the entire Detainment Center (<- just kidding, not offering suggestions)? ^_^

Oh, as far as your Limitation...due to the actions of the Warden, you can go ahead and spend a Plot Point and consider the Physical Complication - Immobilized D8 eliminated and act however you deem fit this turn. You could opt to not spend a Plot Point, but the Physical Complication will still effect you...and while a D8 Physical Complication isn't horrendously 'impairing', due to it's nature, it does impair your ability to work your magic until you free yourself of the entanglement. If you choose to not spend a Plot Point, you could roll to overcome the complication...but you're not going to be able to use your magic in order to accomplish the task.

In reply to Crimson Fury (msg # 72):

Well, since UV was technically cut off from everyone else... let's go ahead and have you start Crimson. UV, as long as you have your reaction post posted before your next action this turn, that should work. You could post your reaction followed up by your action this turn and not be considered taking more than one action this turn. Sound good everyone?

He's visible and accessible, the only character that isn't readily visible UV.

Re: The Matrix Room - OOC

Two questions:-
1) Can I be checky and take your 1 Opp on last roll and make it into a +1 PP
2) As I never made it to warden can I try to heal him next round if he still alive and I don't need to anything else like keep CF from getting himself killed (he he).

I was saving that last opportunity in case I needed to buy back my Solar Blast, but no need! Enjoy those two OPPs, MP!

In reply to Windwalker (msg # 77):

You gain 2 PP's for the 1's you rolled, Windwalker, and unless prevented there's nothing stopping you from trying to aid the Warden next turn. ^_^

Re: The Matrix Room - OOC

Well, I guess since I'm allowing reaction and action posts submitted together...I don't see why not since until she changes her affiliation (currently still solo), anything anyone else does won't immediately effect her. Someone could cause the entire location to become sedate, but she'd still have to determine the result of the inmates encouraging her to help out. :)
