Scene: The Core, Zigursky Penitentiary

"Schrodinger's Penitentiary"

The Core (Detainment Center) - Doom Pool: 0
Horde of Useless Junk
Sterile Environment

The Power Core is a feat of modern technical capacity. A self-sustained power generator provides Zigursky Penitentiary with all the energy it needs to operate independently of Terra Volta which provides Paragon City with all it's power consumption needs. The idea was that if there was ever a power shortage, Zigursky Penitentiary would not be affected, hence...the security features of Zigursky Penitentiary would not be affected. Alas, apparently not all venues were considered as the power core looks to have been completely remodeled with the power core itself being converted into what seems to be a collosal portal...much like the ones that exist in Portal Corps on Peregrine Island. Automated machinery and devices operate here and there, compromised security drones zip about, even a few Zigursky heavies plod ponderously performing general labor. No technician, guard or inmate exists...as if the entire area was meticulously scoured of biological life.

Despite your arrival, no alert or warning is given...as if arriving was no reason or cause for alarm. It's certain that your presence hasn't gone without notice, there are simply far too many electronic sensors and arrays to consider otherwise...but security drones simply buzz by. The whole area drones with machinery working on a plethora of tasks simultaneously, the efficiency is simply astounding, remodelling of this scale would've taken months...whatever was organizing this took less than an hour. A short humanoid robot with a clear canopy for a head - complete with a faux brain and floating eyestalks stands in front of the power core turned portal with a tablet as it taps upon it with fantastic speed.

"It's taken over the entire goddamn core..." mutters the Warden as he eyes the portal.

Tenzing starts to walk around the area looking at what is going on.
Hands behind his back.  He walks around like he is inspecting what is be made.
His peaceful manor is used to keep from setting of the alarms.
Looking at what each creature is doing and nods to himself.
He is careful not to interfere with anything that being done.
However if he is given the chance he interacts with any of the machines to find out more about what is going on.

He looks back at the others hoping they will let him act and get more information about what is being build and what it's perpose is.  Maybe they even join him in his little game.

Mark, now floating once again, prepares and crimson red plasma weapon. A length of energy that flows from his right arm, leaking the pulsing rage like a sword. The robots have no rage to feed on, so he must sense out farther than his own internal power. No doubt whoever is responsible for this has the awareness of his or her own emotions...

OOC: Creating asset.

Team-d8
Feeds on Rage-d8

Spending a PP to make energy sword last the scene.

I can't think of any current distinction or opposition that could meaningful prevent Crimson Fury from creating his Asset (...plus, I drained the Doom Pool so I don't exactly have anything to use in order to roll against the attempt...). For a Plot Point, you could create the Asset based on the Trait you want to use in order to represent it (...such as your Energy Blast trait...). That would mean that you could also apply your Contructs SFX and simply narrate how you manifest a blade forged out of anger and rage (D12 Asset). Yes, another Plot Point would be required to make it persistent. :/

Done deal - you are now Sith Lord! D12 Energy Blade. :D

While having no other real useful or effective source to channel his rage, the amount he currently possesses is more than enough as a brutal shimmering blade manifests within Crimson Fury's outstretched hand pulsing with near indescribable destructive potential!

UV stood, observing what was going on. She was not a technocrat or really that familiar with what she was seeing. There seemed to be some entity with a tablet doing something. UV turned to the Warden. "What is going on? Who is that?", she asked as Crimson and Windwalker did their thing.

OOC: Trying to get back into things.

The short humanoid robot stops typing as it's eyestalks float over towards UV and the Warden's general direction and squawks, "Greetings Organics...Welcome to Portal Core. Get it? Portal Corporation? Portal Core?"

"Damn virus, think this is a joke? You know how many of my men you just killed?!?" roars the Warden as he raises his firearm.

"Thirty seven...I would say thirty eight, but you're not dead...yet." replies the droid as it returns back to it's typing on the tablet.

Since no direct actions have taken place, I'll go ahead and have the Cerebreaum do a little grandstanding, adding a D6 to the Doom Pool. ^_^

In reply to Mender Phantasm (msg # 8):

Mark raises the energy blade, seemingly about to cut the droid in half. However, he felt no emotions in it. It was just a puppet, not the puppeteer. He let off a growl, and turned to Windwalker.

"Any chance you can find a back door into the system?" He said, trying to suppress his rage for however long he could.

(Ooc: 1 xp-tries to hold back unneeded anger.)
