OOC Albrecht isn't sure, however if you look above I said anyone getting off the trail is -2 to hit due to the marsh :).

Albrecht wades into the swamp and swings his greataxe striking into the Giant Frog. The blade seems to cut strongly into the side of the creature.

Furnok draws his short sword but much like Albrecht seems ill prepared for missile combat.

Elmo is drawn closer to the Giant Frog reaching the mouth of the Giant Frog this round.

Elmo decides to attack the Giant Frog with his knife but his knife comes up short against the Giant Frog.

OOC: How much does Sapphire Nightmare Blade do and yes you hit as you surmise the frog is grappling Elmo and thus flat footed?

OOC: Sapphire Nightmare Blade allows me to do a Concentration check vs the target's AC to do my next attack against them being flat-footed and then adds 1d6 cold damage if the check is successful. Essentially I rolled max damage with my axe, then a 1 with the cold damage (or however you want to split it up if it matters). Sorry for the confusion.

OOC: Thank you

The Giant Frog is wounded by Albrecht's attack but he's still going. Elmo is within the mouth of the frog at this point and suffers damage. In an epic stuggle between the tongue of the frog and Elmo, Elmo is swallowed whole and disappears into the creatures innards.

You hear Elmo hollering "Elmo okay, Elmo's fine" from within the frog. Something tells you that Elmo isn't an ordinary farmer or else he wouldn't still be alive. You can tell that Elmo is stabbing the frog from within. The frog's not looking all that well.

Furnok doesn't seem willing to wade into the water and has no missile weapon but remains ready should the frog come ashore.

Albrecht slays the Giant Frog after a mighty battle.

Elmo climbs out of the gullet "Thanks, Elmo's fine". Elmo puts his knife away and retrieves his axe.

Elmo does not look fine....another such encounter and he'd be dead for sure.

Re: To the Moathouse

Oops so sorry about this :(, I was waiting for you guys to post and forgot about the treasure.

Albrecht finds that scattered about the Giant Frogs location are a large number of gold coins. You estimate that there are a few hundred. However retrieving them will require someone to stay in the water to retrieve the coins.

Do you risk picking up the gold now near dark, wait til morning to get the gold, or decide to leave it behind?
