The last one I submitted was on July 23. This one was on January 25. So that's not the reason. That's why I was wondering if the file got corrupted somehow or if something else was a problem.

Send the email again.  Make sure you have some text in the body of the message and leave out any advertising/emoticon type stuff in the signature.  Also make sure there's a subject in the subject line.

emails go thru 2 levels of filtering -- RPoL's, and mine, and mine is probably set more aggressive than RPoL's.  Everything that the filters mark as 'spam' is automatically deleted.

That may not have been the issue, but it's at least worth checking.

That might have done it. I probably just didn't have enough text between the subject and the body. I had things like FFR in it trying to keep out extraneous text, but not the words that a spam filter would want to see. I sent it again. Live and learn. Thanks!

Hmmm, I do not see the image I send in email in there. Do I need resubmit it or is there other problem with it? The pic was white haired girl with gold eyes (drawn).

I can't speak for Shannara, but the portrait FAQ covers some reasons:

I sent my picture two minutes/hours/days ago!  Why isn't it in the gallery yet?

Portrait submissions are taken care of as the Portrait Editor has time to do them.  It may take a month to 6 weeks to see a portrait added to the gallery.  If six weeks have gone by and you still don't have your portrait in the gallery, then you might want resend your image.  You should also check your submission for reasons it may not have been approved (duplicate of / similar to an existing portrait, loss of detail when sized to 100x100, nudity, submission sent as a link rather than an attachment, etc.) before resending.

Underlining is mine, to highlight some potential pitfalls.

Also, did you check ALL the newly-updated sections?  Sometimes an image, while intended as something specific by the person who submitted it, is interpreted as something else in the process of posting it.  So I may send in something expecting it to be a Male Modern Casual...but the image I chose was androgynous enough that it ended up in Neutral Modern Casual, as an example (or it may have also ended up in some of the other Male subheadings).

Face is right. This month I submitted one that I was sure would be put into either Male Fantasy Rogue or Warrior and it came out as Male Scifi Human. You never know!

I didn't reject any submissions for quality/duplication this go-round.  The only ones I didn't accept came from people who sent multiple submissions.

Something I might should mention based on a couple of submissions I received this month -- I do not 'keep' extras to add in subsequent updates.  I pick one from the email, and then all is 'wiped' for the next round to begin.  Sorry.

I checked the updated sections and did not find the pic.

It was meant to be female spellcaster (or demi-human) on request. But I checked all female sections and did not find it anywhere. It was long white haired, golden eyes and chocolate skin drawn female.

I admit I send in January two emails but I am sure I send the email at thursday last week. I re-send it now none the less.

Just my 2 cents:

If your sending images all ready for Shannara to add, name the file based on the category you believe it fits, like MaleModernRugged_12X.jpg or MMR12X.jpg.  I have always done this and all of my submitted images have always ended up where I expected to find them once added.

I also expect if she doesn't have an obvious reason to reject the image, it makes life easier for her as well while she is sorting.

fmc980 and fmc981 are literally the exact same picture, right next to each other.

I know identifying and getting rid of duplicates isn't always easy or even much of a concern, but I just couldn't help myself in pointing this one out.
