Feedback - Changes to Adult Statement Collection

SO ... it's been a few weeks since the system has started collecting age statements for games instead of the more manual process that we had before.

What do you think?

Is this making life easier for you GMs of adult games?

Players?

Has the transition been like you expected?

Is the change good/bad/business as usual?

------------------------------------
NOTE:  IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN RPOL'S POLICY TO REMOVE ADULT ACCESS FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO MAKE INCONSISTENT AGE STATEMENTS OR ARE DISCOVERED PROVIDING FALSE INFORMATION.

The remedy for not trusting the site with your age OR full birthdate (Before the change) or Month/Year of birth (Now) is not to play in adult games -- not to lie about it.

This is not an invitation for those who have lost their adult access because of misrepresenting themselves (for whatever reason) to complain in the public forums, and nor is it the place for offering suggestions as to how anyone might improve their 'non-truthful' skills.  Please don't go there.

Feedback - Changes to Adult Statement Collection

Business as usual.

But i prefer the new system, i don't have to divulge personal information to each and every possible GM.

I have to echo this sentiment; from my point of view, the new system is much better.

Re: Feedback - Changes to Adult Statement Collection

for me? I don't  run adult  games. the MA is because of   Violence and such, that I want the players to  RP out...like an action movie that you're a part of.

I also don't like to have  Younger  people in the, who will  vanish after a month or so..so..i like  thethat part of it?..but I don't need to know everything...if they are found   lying?..ban them from the site.

Re: Feedback - Changes to Adult Statement Collection

As a player it has made things easier.  No worries about making sure I included either a satisfactorily inclusive statement if the GM just requested one in general, or copied the one they wanted exactly.

Just a few mouse clicks and everyone is generally good to go.

I like it. I actually completely forgot about it and was confused as to why I wasn't being asked for an age statement.

+1. Would upgrade again.

It's a little bit depressing how far down I have to scroll to put in my year... but that's probably not your fault. grin

Re: Feedback - Changes to Adult Statement Collection

I'll second Utsukushi's comment. It's far enough down that I'd almost rather I could just type it in.

(During the week of changeover this was quite annoying since I had to do it 7 or so times. In practice, if I just have to do it once for a new game every once in a while, no big deal.)

Yes, as a GM, it's really nice not to have to include an age statement in my games. I know I'm covered just by the existence of the system's statement. Although I'm wondering: What happens if someone loses their adult status? Does the system boot them from the game automatically? Or is there a risk of me getting in trouble if I don't keep clicking check players, or see them over on The Chamber of Lost Souls?

Re: Feedback - Changes to Adult Statement Collection

It would be appreciated if GMs would still remove them from the game manually (so they can capture character sheets first) once anyone has been added to the CoLS for losing adult access.

GMs will not 'get in trouble' for not doing so, though.
