Kevin: That Was Close!

"That was close!" Gary said, coming up behind Kevin, hunched over and panting hard. He was sweating, and his breath could be seen under the street light each time he exhaled.

"What.....What were those rats doing there?"
He asked in disbelief.  "What the heck was that!?"

Kevin: That Was Close!

Kevin is really hard as well, barely able to get enough breath. When he can speak again, he says, "I don't know! Unless..." He stands up a bit straighter as the idea comes to him, and he asks, "What if she wasn't a robot? What if those weren't wires we saw, but tails? What if she's like, some, big super rat or something?"

It's just wild guesses at this point.

"Gross!" Gary almost barked the words out, clearly uncomfortable with the idea of giant, lady-rodent living in the adjacent neighborhood.

"Well, what are we going to tell Edith?"
He asked, looking for some kind of guidance from Kevin on the subject or perhaps just coming to grips with the real-life event that just happened.

"We just got attacked by a swarm of rats."
He stated in disbelief.

Kevin: That Was Close!

Kevin is at a loss for a moment, perhaps still processing as well. "We... We tell her everything. That'll keep her busy thinking while we all have a fun Halloween and we can figure out what to do after that."

He looks around, "Jimmy and Sara must've run a different direction."

"Alright" Gary agreed. "That's a good plan. It's getting late though. Should we tell Edith now or tomorrow?"

OOC: Kevin Chooses

1) Kevin decides to risk being late to dinner in order to tell Edith now (Roll required, only 1 success needed to arrive on time)

or

2) Kevin doesn't risk being late to dinner, Edith will have to wait.

Kevin: That Was Close!

Kevin bites his lip, and then says, "Tomorrow. Don't think we could explain all this in time for supper." Especially the way he rambles.
