I am wondering what kind of downtime we are going to get in this campaign. Plenty of downtime is good for many magic users (specially that TW). Starting level would be very helpful in making decisions. I am just not interested in playing a lv1 LLW with 12 spells of lv1-4 :-(

So, a lot to go through here.  I'll try and answer every question.  If I miss something, just as again.  Please don't ever be afraid to ask me about anything.  My ego is not at stake here.  If you walk off the game because you feel I am not addressing your issues and you haven't brought them up to me, that's on you.  So far everyone looks like a mature adult so I probably don't have to worry, but I do my best to treat everyone with respect and expect the same back.  Coming at me like a drunken frat boy will not go over well.

1. I know this is a lot of players and I will be working on ways to minimize the drag on the game this causes.  I already have an idea for two separate starts.  If you ant to be paired off with anyone, let me know right away.  Shared backgrounds are an awesome thing and I do not want to mess that up.

2. Perceived OCC/RCC weaknesses:  If you think you're at a severe disadvantage compared to everyone else, talk to me.  We can take a look and figure something out.  Throw some ideas at me if you have any.  I want you to have fun and enjoy the game.  Otherwise what's the point?  Let's start with the Ley Line Walker.  What ar you missing?

3. Give me a name or codename you want to change 'player #' to.

4.  Max out SDC, HP, ISP, PPE.  If you have a bonus stat roll, re-roll 1 once.

5.  Untrained skills.  Depending on the skill, there should be a chance to try something.  If I throw you in the water, you're not going to die because you can't swim.  There will be a chance for you to figure it out and survive.  It will be situational, but know that I won't punish a player for not being able to cover all the bases.  There should be someone in the group somewhere that can cover your back if you're lacking.  It's a team game.

6.  Speaking of team game, strife with the group can make for entertaining roleplay.  Don't take it personally.  If you feel someone is over the top, say something.  Don't let resentment build up.  They probably don't realize that they are creating a problem.

7.  Dragon HtH is cool.

8.  Downtime.  My adventures are usually like action movies.  Characters are typically always on the move.  Depending on what you're looking to do, there may be time for it.  Mostly those kinds of things happen between adventures.  I'll run this thing until they seal my coffin if there are still players with me.

9.  Character sheets:  Yeah, I think people mostly type them out as they go.  As long as it is organized, I'm happy.  I don't think they are complicated, just full of information.  Keep them up to date.  I don't care if you keep multiple copies, print them out and hand them out to all the neighbors, if it's not on the sheet here, it doesn't exist.

10.  If there is something you want approved or have a question about, at least include a book and page number.  There are a lot of damn books.

11.  Experience:  You guys deserve xp for your actions.  We do it all for the xp!  I will post xp when it is earned in the post.  I try to be free with xp so you can level up.  Who doesn't want to level up?  That being said, track your own xp.  Tell me whn you level and what you are adding to your sheet.  I will not send you a personal invitation to level up.

You can set the diceroller for Rifts if you are rolling stats based on 2d6 or 3d6.  It will automatically roll a bonus d6 if you get a 12 on 2d6, or a 16+ on 3d6.

That is indeed one of the nice formats, a little jumbled because it is designed to go into the other style of text field but it shakes out well when not in a standard thread post.

Also for those of you still building a list put me down as a Human Mind Melter who has run afoul of the CS more than once, she has also suffered at least one permanent disfigurement from it so she will not likely be to friendly with them.

OK. I am just going to bite the bullet and go with a Shifter. However, I am thinking a True Atlantean will be a good alternate to the dozens of races I have been looking up. I would be happy to have a back story with our other Dragon (or both) and anybody else that wants one. The character will be from Alexandria in the Anvil Galaxy of the 3 Galaxies. He is exploring the lost homework.

Player 12, going anti-vamp borg could likely have common interests as would player 6. My guy could have even helped player 6 escape from enslavement?

Ah nice! I actually had a plan to get around the whole vampire mind control thing. Using already existing tech-the slave borg Implants.

Criminals use this by forcing people to undergo full conversion borg sugary, and then fit them with the implant to take control of their mechanical bodies.

Vampires can control people's minds, but can't normally take control of machines via their powers. Thus the biggest weakness borgs have against the undead.

My character underwent full conversion to combat borg status, but added in a computer program he designed to use one of these slave borg implants. In effect, he would choose someone else as a primary user. They would activate the slave borg implants via a code phrase,  and deactivate it as needed.

While under the effects of the implant, my character's could only run Pre-written programs-like kill all vampires for example. He also would loose the ability to speak. Mostly because the vampires would be able to force him to communicate with them. Then be could activate his own save borg implant, forcing him to run a combat program, and hopefully the assigned user could free him with the code phrase.

So, with the GM saying he's going to be splitting the party into multiple groups at start, that solves a lot of my concerns about huge games. Whew, hooray. However, that does leave me with a new question: What on earth do I want to play? My original hankering was for a Hatchling, but there are already two of those which is already like a stress test for maximum goofiness. I also don't think that either of the groups need additional murder power, which kind of ticks off my normal go-to of various sorts of Juicers.

So I guess I'll offer it out to the group: What do you not see much of in the currently proposed characters? Are there any holes that need filling, or any roles in your PC's background that could use smoothing. I see several CS refugees/escapees, maybe there's something in that...
