Well, what other advantage could Hurley provide the Beast sitting in that tree, based on what Esperon saw?

Hurley would be able to direct their approach when taking on the pride. However, in order to "cut" the pride it will take more than just Arryanna. Esperon or Trophonius (both would give an asset) will have to join in the chase. One will have to force them to run while two will have to work together to cut one of the calyptors from the herd.

They have biomechanically enhanced eyesight so the positions will have to be taken by making a wide arc.

But having Esperon and Troph involved drastically raises the chance she'll go after them instead. She has, after all, had a taste of long pork already. Well...as close to it as her people are. So not that close. New food! **chases after Troph**

Yeah, Esperon and Troph will be well away during this.

I mean, he'd be like a caller, calling out which direction the herd is heading so that Trophonius and Esperon can react accordingly. Does that make sense?

Yeah, that's exactly the opposite of what I want. Let me re-phrase: is there anything that Esperon sees that Hurley can do by himself in the tree to help Arry out in Beast form?

The only other thing Hurley could do to help Arryanna out is to fire his crossbow at one of the creatures enough to slow it down. That would require them to be within long distance range of Hurley.

Trophonius is slightly afraid of the concept of a beastial killer he has to refrain from harming....cause Arry.... but will go along with whatever the plan is.
