Clarke was tired. He was tired of self-righteous cultists and extremist hobbyists who wished to talk to demons. More so, he was tired of folk who treated others as if they were disposable because of their differing beliefs.
He raised his pistol. He chuckled. "I believe, good sir, I have not promised you anything. And if you are so certain of our death, then we should remove as many demons from this world before our inevitable departure as we can." He steadied his weapon. "Unless you are willing to say what is in those vials, how Daniel will sabotage the engine, and how you have our pictures, you can say hello to Daniel when you meet in the arms of your king."
