Thank you for your interest in playing in this world. It is run by the extremely simple rules system In Darkest Warrens, with my house variants.To understand what it is like, I recommend you read the Basic Description of the world, the Character Basic Attributes, Races and Character Classes and Gear threads, and maybe the Cloaks (a fairly minor costume system).

If you wish to join the game, RTJ with a basic description of the character you wish to play, and if that is approved by the GM, choose one of the geographical threads and start adventuring there. Players are not required to form adventuring parties, though if they want to form parties, they are welcome to do so (and its is likely to enhace their survival). Encounters are available in all the geographic threads, though naturally they differ depending on the thread. Entering the Sacred Studium offers very different possibilities than entering the Dwarven Deeps.

Regarding practical points, this game is not rated adult or mature. It will involve violence, but the results of violence need not be gruesomely described. There might be sexual encounters, but they will definitely not be explicitly described.

Be aware that most, though not all, parts of the world are presently ruled by the Forces of Evil, and are quite definitely dangerous for adventurers who side with good.

In general, I expect players to treat each other with courtesy, though in some cases hostile characters will naturally express themselves in hostile terms.

If there is a question about the rules, the GM's decision is final.
