Character Classes Part 2

ASSASSIN (5 wounds, Special: after  making a successful melee attack, the  assassin may use an action to poison the  opponent for 1 round per class level. Once  per combat). Although many assassins are agents of Yervaar on the main continent or (secretly) in the Free Isles, mostly half-orcs or humans, there are also dwarves and halflings who are assassins. Assassins from these races and some of the humans are agents of the Free Peoples, usually operating secretly on the main continent. There may also be free-lance assassins for hire, especially in the cities of the southern coast of the continent. Some assassins carry thieves' tools and know how to use them.

WARLOCK: (3 wounds, Special: can use  Warlock Spells  see below). (see Spells in the separate Magic section) All warlocks in Nezrak's World are evil, and almost all are trained by Nezrak in the Warlock Warrens beneath his temple and are in his personal service. It is just possible, but rare, for a warlock to desert Nezrak's  service and become a free-lance, but it would be very dangerous to risk it. Most warlocks are human, but there are a few half-orcs (serving as "chaplains" with his half-orc garrisons) and the female Dragonkins who are "Dragon Sisters" and "Dragon Mothers" have the powers of warlocks. There are no known elvish, dwarven or halfling warlocks.

PRIESt: (3 wounds, Special: can use  Priest Prayers  see below). In Nezrak's World, all the priests of his god Yervaar are warlocks. The actual priests and priestesses are servants of divinities in two pantheons, one being the pantheon of the Free Peoples and the other the pantheon of the Barbarians (see separate Religion posts) The clerics of the first pantheon come from all the Free Peoples, while the clerics of the second pantheon are almost all ethnically from the same culture as the Barbarians. There are a few adherents of the second pantheon among non-barbarian humans and half-orcs. Like the Barbarians, the  clerics of their gods are allied with, but not subject to, Nezrak and his god Yervaar.

STORYTELLER: (4 wounds, Special:  may provide a reroll to target. (once per  combat). (Although the only Special power given storytellers does not relate to their profession, most storytellers have excellent Person scores and can use them to successfully entertain audiences to win money or favors.) Most storytellers are humans or halflings; storytellers who are elves or dwarves might be possible but rare.  No half-orc or dragonkin storytellers are known. Nezrakite human storytellers might be possible, but if so, they are very rare. Most storytellers support the Free Peoples, though neutrals operating on the main continent in the southern cities are possible.

TREASURE HUNTER: (4 wounds,  Special: the treasure hunter can  automatically detect hidden treasure  within 5ft x class level of him/her).
As noted above in races, most treasure hunters are Halflings, though there are some dwarves and members of other races might be possible. Nearly all the known treasure hunters are from the Free Isles or areas on the mainland allied wth the Free Isles. Evil treasure hunters might be possible, but would be very rare.
