Simple
One day you are walking along, doing whatever it is you do. Up head there is a shimmer. Like heat waves of a fire. It gets bigger. It starts to glow. You are mesmerized. You find you can not move, you don't want to. It gets bigger still. Your heart rate increases, you breathing faster. You can't help but think "What is the wondrous thing" it is still growing. the glowing brighter, and brighter. You can barely see. As the shimmering light grows it touches you. A warmth like the sun in early spring. It tingles. It encompasses you slowly, completely. Then nothing but darkness.

Wake up.

Your head is pounding.

You dont even remember falling asleep.

Where is this place?

Its hard to even remember who you are.

It is dark. It is damp. You lie apon a stone like surface. The space sounds hollow, empty. Slowly driping water echos.

Woke as she did evey day. Her eyes blinked the sleep away. She layed there for a moment before realizing things where not as they should be.
 She felt the rough stone beneath her and moist air. She felt around. The stone table. She sat up let her legs dangle off the edge. "This is not my home" fear welled up inside her. She grasps for the light with in. The warmth of her goddess arms get folks her whith assurance. "All wil be well child. You have been called upon. Go with my grace."

As Fajar’s eyes opened she felt the pounding against her head. She felt like she’d been on a bender. Had she? Was this some joke? Wouldn’t be the first time she ate something with a little added hallucinogen. That must have been it, that couple, they were definitely on something. Not that she judged, she had been a willing participant.

Still, this didn’t feel like a place she’d have ended up. Snapping her fingers she listened carefully to hear how far it travelled. Sniffing she could pick up at least another person, a hint of the sea. Sitting up she checked for her belongings before saying, ”Did you bring me here?”

Adriyannas head shoots in Fajar direction. " No! " she pulls her legs up to chest trying to make her self as small as can be. "I, where are we." It was dark enough anyone would have heard time setting. But eyes never really looked AT anything. She whimpeted

Fajar didn’t necessarily believe the woman but would go along with it until proven otherwise. ”Well, I smell a hint of the sea but that seems it may be coming from you. It’s almost pitch black but I can see quite well in the dark and I don’t see anyone but it looks like we might be able to go that way.” she stood and checked her things before trying to find a way out.

Fajar could see rubbble strewn about. This place was old,forgotten.  There appeared to be an arch way that lead out of the tiny room. A dim flicker of light like a candle far far off. As she checked her belongings she could notice nothing missing from what she day the day before.

A loud roar from above. Thundrous pounding from above caused dust to fall from above.

Fajar went through her bag and got her armor out, slipping it on just in case. Her knives strapped to her thighs, her axes on her back. She readied herself at the roar and pushed forward. Toward the light she stopped every few steps to listen, smell. It didn’t matter if the woman followed, she was getting the hell out of this place.

Cowered on the stone table at the sounds above. But then the other left her there alone. "Wait" she whisper. She would try to follow the sounds of the other Female. Crawling on ghe floor she found the archway. hugging the wall "please don't leave me" she half played half whispered. But Fajar was quick, and far aheed.

”Hurry up. I don’t want to see what else might show up. There could be far worse things than me that arrive.” She slowed but didn’t stop. Taking in the each new bit that she could see, hear, smell to make certain there wasn’t anyone. Even if she did go back, she was going to need to clear anything ahead. Having a nearly non-functional companion would only make it harder to fight as she’d have to both be the aggressor and defender. She very much preferred the former, preferred the thrill of fighting, losing herself in it for a time. Her chosen profession allowed her to keep the darkest impulses at bay.

Using the sounds of Fajars foot steps, Adriyanna felt her way down the hallway . "Far worse then you?" Is the woman good company or nor? The fact the other woman slowed must have ment she was in company of a decent person. Atleast she was nice enough to slow diwn for her.

Fajar reaches a large opening with five doors ways. 2 have large wooden doors. One has large pile of debris.  One is open.one had the flickering light.

Taking her smaller axe in her left hand and a throwing dagger in her right, Fajar took a calming breath. It was not effective. There seemed little she could do to ease her mind about this situation. The power required to randomly, without warning of any sort, bring multiple people to another location. While teleportation wasn’t unheard of as far as she had experienced it was very noticeable.

Again she pushed forward she decided to check out the light first. If there was a source it would be useful. She had good dark vision but even a little light helped with details tremendously. Also, it was likely out there to lure people in. Maybe she would find someone, some answers. Slowly she moved, looking for any terror that may be waiting.

The old man had been puttering around the small laboratory, ancient as it was. Covered in thick cobwebs. He held a small candle, he seemed to be looking for something. He almost did not hear the footsteps behind him. He spun around to see what was coming. " Ah-ha finally! Someone comes to my call." He seamed vary excited, he voice sounded as frail as he looked.

Fajar wasn’t one to assume anything based on the appearance of another. She’d seen ancient beings that looked far younger than she and powerful vampires turned basically on their death bed. ”I wasn’t called, I was kidnapped.” She just watched to see his response, ready to move if necessary.

The old man waived her comment away." The universe does things however it will."

Just then loud rawr from above again followed by thumping and more dust falling.

The old man pointed to the ceiling. "Ah,there, see this is why." Waving his hand. "I need your help," he pauses. "But is this all there is? Ah," he pauses again. He studies Fajar, likes he is trying to look in to your soul, spirit, life force.

Anna did her best to follow Fajar. She stumbled and triped more then she could count. She halted just outside the doorway when she heard the voice inside. At the comotion above she coughed and stumbled into the room3 nearly running into Fajar. "What is that" she sounded frightened. Her eyes now more visable, one might notice the clouded grayness of the blind.

Fajar took a deep breath and was going to say something in response but the noise started. ”So what’s the situation here? I’d really like to get back to my life and it seems this has to be dealt with first.” She looked at the other woman, was she blind? In Fajar’s experience blind didn’t always mean blind, especially if someone was here for a ‘reason’ or because ‘the universe’ and she really didn’t like the latter as an answer why she was here. But, deal with issues first.
