I was just looking over the Great Dungeon Records thread and it amused me to note that 5 of the 11 characters in the graveyard are my group.  Dead Reckoning indeed!

Silver daggers (30gp) and silver arrows (20gp for a quiver of 20, or 1gp each) are available. A spear could be forged for you. Pretty much any silver melee weapon is 10x the normal price.

Not to throw historical reality into your fantasy too much, but silver is too soft a metal to make good melee weapons. Sterling silver, though, may have been around, and our illustrious DM might decide that those weapons exist in his world.

True, but in a world where there are werewolves people would find a way to adapt.  Besides, daggers, arrows and spear tips are a simple spike, they don't need to be terribly functional for anything except stabbing werewolves.

Right, but a whole sword might be impractical if it was pure silver.  :^)

I always assumed a "silver dagger" was just a silver coating over an iron or steel core.

So....how are things going?

Not so good. Lots of stuff going on IRL these days. I'm barely keeping up with the games I'm in as a player right now.

I was considering shutting the game down, but I know you guys are enjoying it. So I'll see if my motivation picks up in the coming months or not.

If the game does end, at last I feel like I had a very good run of it. If not, so much the better!   ;^D

Hey guys, I think I am going to shut this game down. I'm having trouble getting enough "spoons" to keep two D&D campaigns going at the same time (the other one is my live game). I've got to focus on work stuff a bit more this year.

I am slowly working on notes for a Gamma World campaign that I'd like to run here on RPOL one of these days. If/When I get it up and running, I'll be sure to make an announcement over in Nemrac.

But first, I need to get another paper or two written and published.

Thanks for playing. I really enjoyed seeing how you guys explored my dungeon.

No worries, DM.   It happens.  I plan on recycling these characters in various forms so you might see them live on elsewhere.  Heck, Zed’s cousin is already over in Nemrac representing the Beardface clan.
