Wisconsin Dell's is a small town featuring waterparks, known by many as the waterpark capital of the world.

on the surface the towns all fun and games... but beneath the surface...

Fine Ceramics by Dervil Ó hÉalaighthe, Main Street

Dervil is working on some ceramics a selection of smaller pieces for the tourists with her hallmark geometric patterns and bright colors, putting the work in her kiln a classic older design for the final stage the ten pieces should fetch a couple hundred dollars. Her other kiln has a large pot, she spent more time on that and she carefully removes it this one is for sale at a top gallery in Madison as it cools she carefully adds her mark on it and sets it aside in the window for now.

But more importantly the local High School art class is coming in and she needed to be ready cleaning things up, obsessively some would say, but she had to also get cleaned up.

In a half hour she is looking like a proper artist, casually nice looking, as she got ready to answer questions and show what a well outfitted ceramic artists studio looks like.

For our Kin, for Gaia!

Ingrid was working as a waitress in a diner. Her father wasn't entirely happy with that, but she wasn't married yet so she needed to do something.
A sweet but shy young woman, Ingrid enjoyed it when the locals came in for lunch or breakfast. It could be challenging not to be timid or hesitant around strangers, though. But today had been quiet so far. Not much stress at work and nothing her father or the Get needed her for. Relaxing days like this were a blessing.

After a bit Jacob comes in.

He's a local Shadow Lord Kin, but is affable enough

He runs a used video game shop, and is generous enough with any kin or garou interested in buying from him, hes a frequent enough customer.

He smiles at Ingrid and places an order "I'd like a Hamburger meal with all the trimmings"

Ingrid smiles at Jacob. Although her father didn't much approve of the kin of other tribes, they also understood what it meant to be kin, and they were often kinder than Get. "Oh yes sir. How's business, Jacob?" she said warmly before relaying his order.

Dervil met the High School class hugging the teacher now that she's no longer a student and its a friendly hug.

"Fáilte go dtí mo stiúideo ealaíne, mic léinn.* I will be showing you around and explaining the process of making clay and various approaches to decoration into fine art. Feel free to ask questions then we will go for lunch. Now we will start with the rear workroom and please no touching anything out here without asking some of these pieces are worth hundreds of dollars.," she takes the mall art class to the rear room showing the gallery heart the place she makes the ceramics. The pottery wheel and the various types of clay and how they are processed some above High School classes and the advanced methods of coloring and decorating. Much of this college or advanced trade work.

Welcome to my art studio, students.

Then to the heating process doing multiple pieces and single pieces with two separate kilns noting the former are for more affordable pieces, and the large ones are for fine art galleries and more refined collectors.

Then comes the business end, education, questions on making a living as an artist and she giving each student a special hand held vase with her mark on them as gifts part of a set for the class forming when lined up a view of the dells river with the unique features. The teacher gets the first one.

Then they go to get lunch at a local cafe she leaving her shop assistant to tend things.

Coming into the café she takes over some tables and greets Ingrid, and will cover the bill for lunch for everyone she has the money to do it and is a good tipper, especially to Ingrid. She orders her usual a open faced turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and extra gravy and for dessert whatever pie looks good and iced tea. Then lets everyone else order its going to be a big check.

Ingrid's smile brightened. "Aww, miss Dervil, that's so generous of you. It's very kind of you to help out the kids. And it's always nice to see someone like you succeed." By which she meant a Kinfolk, not an artist, although she would never say that out loud in public. It was really strange from Ingrid's perspective that a Kin could have a mentor figure like Greene who might not be Kin herself.

"Oh, the cold bothers me a little. But I'm having quite a good day."

710 Washington Avenue  was still a mess. James had returned the U-Haul truck last night after spending half the day carrying the boxes inside. Mary had been of some help between the spouts of teenage hormone attacks. She was resentful over the move to Wisconsin Dells, but on the other hand she seemed to like the house and especially her room, they’d need to renovate preferrably before she moved her things in there permanently. Luckily the house had three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which made renovating it easier in batches.

James put down the coffee mug bearing the insignia of Milwaukee Police Department, his third for the day, and stood up. He glanced himself over to see, his blue jeans and t-shirt were presentable and begun to navigate his way through the piles of boxes that were still unpacked. Mary was in her own room, sulking, so he had the house mostly for himself. Music carried down from upstairs - Mary was probably trying to annoy James on purpose with it, but he didn’t mind. She could have picked far worse tunes, but luckily enough they annoyed her too so she just was just content on playing the music out loud.

After a quick walk through the labyrinth of boxes, James finally made his way to the door and opened it. ”Yes?”

Birk is having a good day.  He is trying out a new form of honey that mixes herbal remedies and excstasy which is really a spoonful of sugar to make the medicine go down.  For Glasswalker kin, he is very much a creature of the wilderness but he explains it to most of his immediate family as being "Extreme Exurbs."  Though he has always been fascinated by the mystic gifts the Garou actually have, he has kept his own efforts to the practical and tangible; he isn't a lupine and he never will be.  Except for the occasional dabbling with the Tarot, he does far more with his efforts on the dark web than he ever will with a Klaive and a hand grenade.

Still, he needs to batch another brand of dynamite this afternoon.  They go through it so fast.  What do they all blow up?

The work is careful and meticulous and he has worked over time with each batch to make it more and stable so that it is not a risk where he keeps it or makes it.  The equipment is very specialized and would alarm DHS six ways to sunday if he got it all at once but as it is, he carefully makes it happen and has built it up slowly over time to be a clock work operation that the authorities are vaugely aware exists but is only used exclusively for the business of the Garou so they think it is simply some kind of radical environmentalist outfit getting the dynamite from stolen outfits.

Funny enough, think about the DHS and there is a knock on the door. A man in his late thirties or so can be seen, wearing a brown uniform and a star-shaped badge on his chest. A broad tactical belt on his waist carries a number of pockets and a holster with a pistol in it. Whoever he is, he is clearly part of the Sheriff’s Office, which is likely to spell trouble, if he sees something illegal - like gear for someone making dynamite.

Fortunately, though seemingly of middle income, Birk was insanely rich.  As such, the dynamite was always constructed in a location under the ground and well away from wherever he answered the front door.  Checking the cameras, he notice it was someone from the Sheriff's office, so carefully setting down one of the last pack, he replied by the intercomm, "Yes, how can I help you sheriff?"

He finished the final elements of the last batch and began to wash his hands.  Explosive residue was relatively easy to detect and smart people who didn't get caught always removed it afterwards.

Birk finished washing.  He wasnt a ritualist in the clan, but the importance of it had been sent home at a young age. He washed his hands and then went up to the door.  He opened it and invited the officer inside.  Birk wasnt nerveous, not because he was a hardened criminal, rather, he had long ago resolved himself to the ultimate sacrifice for Gaia.  He fought in his own way, and death was as much a part of life. Gaia was balance between the Wyld, the Weaver and even the Wyrm.

He smiled warmly on appearance, looking more like a refugee from a Ben and Jerrys convention than a master criminal.  Part hippie, part Wall Street Sell out, he smiled and extended his very clean hand to the Law Enforcement Officer. "How can I help you officer?"
