Recruiting for players - Weird Discoveries


I am running the Weird Discoveries published adventures for Numenera.

The style of game I plan to run:

These adventures will be from the published material for the most part, with some potential for ad-hoc situations thrown in between adventures, then possibly branching out into other published adventures from there. I like to focus on narrative over mechanics and story over rules, but the game won't be without combat, of course.

The game will contain mature content as I'm not opposed to strong language. Combat has its share of violence of course, but I prefer to not have highly graphic or gruesome depictions. Any sexual situations will be implied if they arise at all; I do not want to have explicit sex or erotica described.

What I'm looking for:

I would like to be joined by 3 to 5 players who are unfamiliar with the Weird Discoveries adventures. I'm looking for players who focus on character development and personality, incorporating their goals and uniqueness into the narrative and style of game play.
Posting frequency expectation will be daily at most, every other day at the least.

• What you have in mind for the character you'd like to play, including type, descriptor, and focus. Core and Character Options 1 & 2 are fine.
• How often you plan to post, and when you might post less frequently if applicable.
• What type of game style/adventure you most enjoy.
