Terminologies in the Game

World - represents a series. Worlds are were characters from various series originate from, and each world is governed by different set of rules. In the event that a character from one world enters another world, that character is forced to comply with the rules of the entered world.

World Crystal - core of a world. The World Crystal is what holds a world together and ensures its existence. All World Crystals are invisible to the inhabitants of that world, and can only be sensed by outsiders as a faint buzzing sensation at the back of one's head. While most World Crystals resemble a huge crystal formation, there are other World Crystals that come in different forms.

Distortion - this is an incident that changes a world from its original form. Its original effect displaces the protagonists of the world as if they never existed, others change the story of the world completely. Outsiders cannot use their Gimmick until either the World Crystal or the Distortion Core has been found, otherwise they run the risk of increasing the world's Distortion.

Distortion Core - the cause of the Distortion. This is usually the original villain/s of the world, granted powers that are not natural in the world the villain hails from. The characters have to first catch the Distortion Core in the act of causing Distortion in order to reveal the Distortion Core.

Distortion Factor - ranging from 1 (minor Distortion) to 10 (extreme Distortion). Minor Distortions include displacement of one or all protagonists from the world. Major Distortions involve a change in the story of the world, or a change in the setting or gimmick. Once the Distortion Factor reaches 10, the world is on the verge of a collapse.
