Game Rules

Rule #1 Post.
1.1 If you don't have anything to say? Post that you stand in the corner.
1.2 You don't know what to do? Post that you look around for something interesting.
1.3 You think that this thread is done? Post in the OOC that you thing thread X.Y is pretty much done.
1.4 You are in a fight but your initiative isn't up? Say what you plan to do, with a little notes saying how that might change.
1.5 You look at the thread list and don't see your name as the last post? Then it's your turn.
1.6 Think that you talk too much and you might be annoying? 'Annoying talks too much energy' is exactly what we need. You are a welcome addition.

Rule #2 Be excellent to each other.

Some bits on how I'm running things.

You are always both, back at base and out in the field. That is the beauty of having a forum, everything can be run in parallel. There are no downtime scenes, because you are always in the middle of downtime already.

How that works for requisition? You visit the quartermaster at the base (or the sketchy tech priest, or greasy Eddie the junk trader) In character, make your requests using the appropriate form (possibly written on a napkin), the form is processed (you make the roll), you will have your new goodies at the start of your next mission.

Ghosting. You are going to ghost me. I know it, you know it.

You don't post for 4 weeks, you are out. Booted from the game, your character archived.

But all is not lost. I'm going to open recruitment every mission. Probably just pulling from a waiting list. If you ghosted us on the last mission then you go to the end of the line. But hey, odds are you will still get in again in a mission or two. For real no hard feelings.

If you are courteous and bow out of a mission because your grand dad is in the hospital, you have finals, you are really into Skyrim this month, etc. You don't have to give me a reason just let me know and you will get Saving Private Ryan'ed back to base or you can die heroically, doesn't matter. Either way I'll put you in the front of the waiting list for the next mission.

If I have 3 of the 5 players drop off during a mission I'll add 3 new players as a rescue crew.

I'm hoping by acknowledging this shortcoming of our chosen gaming style we can rise above it and get somewhere.
