On the second day after you left Gallows End the three of you are off the path, trying to spot tracks under pouring rain, when you all slip on a hillside and end up in a hole in the ground. From what you can understand, it is an old bear trap, but it is flooded with mud, due to the heavy, cold rain and its wall are high and slippery.
[OOC the level of muddy water, although cold and unpleasant, prevented worse damages, but nevertheless you suffer 2 damages due to bruises caused by slipping and falling]

After the slip, the slide and the bone-jarring splat at the end, Rorn struggles to rise in the pit.  Wincing a little at his jarred left knee, he quickly scans the others to make sure they are also alright.

No broken necks or madly-bent legs among them, which was a relief.

"Alighty," he says, trying to make it sound light.  "A quick climb out and then drop a rope line down for the rest."

Rorn suggests, since was quite smaller than Larson, that the bigger man give him a boost on his shoulders.  Then Rorn can scramble out.

He doesn't have rope though.  "We needed it all back home," he explains with a shrug.

Action plan:  1) someone loans Rorn a rope .. hopefully we have some!!  2) Larson boosts Rorn up  3) Climb out   4) Tie rope off on tree and drop line down for the rest to climb out

[OOC 1)Gal has a rope (10 m)
2) Larsn boosts Rorn up against slippery walls, under pouring rain, with uneven ground under his feet doing a SKILL roll -2 (please let me know if you have relevant Special Skills that you would like to use)
3) Rorn needs to stand with both his feet on Larson's shoulders to reach the edge of the pit with his extended hands (under pouring rain, with slippery walls) doing a SKILL roll -2 (please let me know if you have relevant Special Skills that you would like to use)
4) finally, Rorn needs to hold on something like a root, branch or the like (made slippery by mud and pouring rain), and lift himself out of the pit doing a SKILL roll -3 + Stength Special Skill (please let me know if you have other relevant Special Skills that you would like to use)

Gorna retrieved her rope from the napsack. "Here you go, sir. If yews don't mind, I'll just stand back here and enjoy the show!" She grins. "I'm rootin' for yews, though!"

Larson looks at the others "stand on my shoulders and I'll left you up to the lip take the rope with you and then we can pull ourselves up after you"
