Welcome back. We didn't do much while you were gone. It shouldn't be hard to catch up. I hope everything went well on your end.

Re: OOC
Can I just say that I appreciate how understanding the pastor is being. He let the insinuation about him working with the enemy slide and has been kind enough not to directly moralize with Wernher about his plans. I generally worry about those those things with characters who are likely to have a moral code, but you have been kind in not getting into it just yet. I appreciate that effort. The others have done so as well, and deserve recognition too, but I wanted to make special note partly because we are the ones talking at the moment and partly because he is the one I felt would be most likely to take issue with his intentions toward wanton destruction. I wanted to say "thank you for your understanding and allowances." as one player to another to all of you and this seemed a good moment to do so. So, yeah. Thank you all.

Re: OOC
Thanks Wernher. I thought it would be inappropriate to try imposing moral codes on people, especially at this point. Nobody's done anything particular heinous as of yet so there isn't really any motivation either.

Re: OOC
Sorry about the delay everyone.  The President's Day weekend was fun (visiting/travelling with family and friends), but long (and ended with a cold).  Should be back now, though...

Re: OOC
The delay is understandable. I hope you had fun and I am sorry to hear about your cold. I do hope you get or have gotten to feeling better. It is nice to have you back. I feel like I have run out replies I am allowed to do today or I would fire one off for you as well. I am somewhat curious about the signals he wants and their aim, but I suppose I will learn more about that if and when they develop them. Right now there don't seem to be a lot of solid plans that include other people, but as you pointed out, more information could be useful. I will say that Wernher should be able to get up to a lot of havoc in 3 days, but shouldn't exhaust his list of ideas before then. Assuming there are no disasters waiting for me. Those could throw all sorts of monkey wrenches into my plans.

Re: OOC
I enjoyed your post Micaiah. Hopefully when I appear it will make up for all the missing explosions. Whether it puts his mind at ease or not is another question, but who knows? At least he will know that Wernher had every intention of showing up at that point. It is at least a little bit of trust and valuation shown to the group. Under all the layers of crazy and justified paranoia he still wants to make it work. If nothing else it will show a new tool in your tool box and a good reason to work with him. I'm excited to see what happens next.

Is it safe to assume that the bell is in a little steeple of some sort? Or is it simply in the attic?

Actually Nash, it isn't over the church, it is at least 30 feet from the church. I'm not saying that I want you to shoot at me, but you could do it and hope that if shooting it works, it drops strait down or its momentum takes it away from the church.

Where there anything other than just confirming that it was indeed Wernher that Micaiah should get from revealer that you need me to tell you? I don't want to short you on what you should have gotten.

That much I got. By last statement I meant literally everything he said before leaving. The 'twixt yeller wall etc. part.

Re: OOC
quote:
get yerselves over to the injun graveyard, 'twixt yeller wall and ole frank's mine up on the south side.

Go to the Indian graveyard that is between "yeller wall" and "old frank's mine". "Old frank's mine" is up on the south side. Put those items on a map and draw a line. Look for the Indian graveyard that is along that line. Presumably, our characters know the location of those two places and can figure it out. Its like giving directions in the form of "Its between the 7-11 that burnt down and the old water tower with the dolphin painted on it." If you live there you know where those locations are and the street that connects them. Here there is no street, but you get an idea of the line between them and the Indian graveyard that would be there.

Oh Wernher. You're work was of consequence and you're a valued member of the team. Its just hard coordinating with a spaceship.

Re: OOC
Just wait until I can crawl inside your minds. The voice of "The Lord" (the golden tear drop) is that of a small angry child. Kidding. But honestly, if I pick up some of the telepathic abilities later, it may help that problem. I totally understand the difficulty of coordination. I was just sort of playing with the problem while it exists. Having little to no insight into things, he misreads them occasionally. You all just left, with good reason mind you, after sending him to do something nebulous with the indian who seemed to want to get rid of him. It easily comes off as something along the lines of yelling "Look over there." Then running away. Now in context, which he doesn't have, it all makes sense. Out of context it looks bad. But that is the nature of a lot of things out of context or given new context by his delusions and paranoia. Someday they may be able to put things in the right context or have an actual meeting with him where things get discussed. Until then, he serves well enough. He is willing to help where he can and things will get better over time.

Sorry about the delay in responding both IC and OOC; parental units in town and so it was a bit crazy.  Should be more normal now that the weekend is over...
