Feel free to post questions here.

It should be noted that I've tried to get an Armageddon game going before, and it never worked out.  I finally got 4 players after several weeks of posting for the game, but they idle'd out within a month and the game got deleted.

I will again repost the game repeatedly in hopes of drawing enough interest, but if we don't get enough players, I will not try running the game on fewer than 4 PCs...

Of note... I already have 2 people interested.

If you have a question, don't be afraid to post it here so all can see (as they may have the same question).

Q1: Zealotry is more than belief and adherence to that belief.  It's wanting to spread that belief even if it means dying to spread it.  Think Missionary going to Iran to spread their god's word, and threatening fire and damnation on those that follow mohammed.

Q2: Shotguns and Revolvers are allowed.  Revolvers for you gunslingers, do d6x3(9) damage.

Question then:

Would I be correct in assuming that the Unconventional Medicine skill is ineffective/quackery?

Actually, I'd allow Unconventional Medicine as-is, and remove Medicine (Special) since that didn't really exist back then...

Quick Q.

Typically I like to post character sheets for all to see.  Does anyone have any objections to this?

Ok, I'll post them all on a closed thread.

Also, if you haven't done so, please send me a NEW Private Message, so I can see who is writing to me.  Ie: I've no idea that 'zylphyr' is 'The Great Spirit' when I look in my inbox and see Zylphyr left me a message.  ;)

Hi gang ;)
First question: Are we following any kind of timeline? 50 odd years after the Louisiana Purchase would put us before the War or at the start of it. Or are we going with an alt time. I'm asking because a couple peeps have already mentioned After the War so for my own taste for describing my appearance and to know how I can describe my firearms. I mean are we gonna be picky or are we gonna go loose with cartridge firearms which weren't common during the late 1850's early 60's.

?#2: TGS can I get an edible character sheet so I can work on it in the Character Details?
Thanks

Well Denver wasn't even founded until 1858 so I think the "50 odds years" was more of an approximation. We are at least in the late 1860's, perhaps early 1870's. Of course what I'm saying now may be overriden by TGS but I think the logic is sound. As for weapons I'll leave that to TGS. Technically modern cartridges were implemented as early as the 1850s and found use during the war. So its not totally impossible although perhaps not the most common thing in existence, probably a good bit of black powder rifles still floating around.

Edit: There are also still paper cartridges that use percussion caps.

Exactly, so for game purposes I'm hoping TGS goes with a more theatrical rule than historical.
I've added a description for Taron. He should be pretty well know around the area in and outside of Denver.

Re: OOC
Exact Date of Chapter 1: October 31st 1968.  I was thinking of doing it pre civil-war (late 1861 or early 1862) when I wrote the game info, but seeing as people wanted to be post-war, and that didn't effect my story any, I'm ok with it.  I believe it's a GMs duty to form the game around the characters, and I do aim to please.  :)

Typically I've waited until people have completed the initial steps (usually ending in having sent me a Private Message so I can more easily identify who is talking to me), but since you ask, I've opened your character sheet up.  Please do still send me that Private Message though so I don't have to remember which player belongs to Taron, and visa-versa.  ;)

Re: OOC
All sheets (except Taron of course) have been reviewed, if there was anything wrong, I sent you a message.  Otherwise, your sheet is fine as-is.
