I literally cheered at my desk at work (since I am posting from my phone) when the die rolls came up! Got a couple of looks from my coworkers, but they're used to my brand of insanity. :D

It stacks. Bardic is competence, Bless is morale. Bonuses from different types stack just fine...

Oh mighty DM, I have a small request. Would it be possible to note the round of combat at the bottom of your posts(while combat is on going)? I don't want to go twice in a single round or make a similar mistake.

Also, love the game so far. Having a great time. :)

Ok yes it is round 4 ish right now....

So everyone get a go at the final two bandits.... and those riding away of course...but you have to take a -1 to attack rolls ie you need a 15 to hit

Can I make the following suggestion which will make combat a little easy to keep track off.  It used in other games I am in.  This is suggestion if Gm does not like idea I understand.  I would never tell GM what do.  It a helpful thought...

That at start of combat the GM post the below.
Either in real thread or in OOC: Or even have it own thread.

Round:- 1

Monsters.

Drezghl Zuhv
Filarion Petxalim
Octavia Cassiana
Razmatin Vulcovila
Silas Silverstream
Tatyana Dec'lan
Tauron Alphmellon

Then once a player had made a post use the strike out over their name.
So say The Monster go first and GM done there action and Octavia, Silas and Tatyana have made post then GM updates the thread recording what happened.
The GM would then adjust the post as follows.
The time date adjustment will then allow players to know if this done after or before their last post.

Round:- 1

This way we can quickly work out if we need post or not.
When next round happen GM the post an update.
It also help know which round we on for spell effect.
Even better any spell or bard effect could be posted under round to help player remember.

Great idea.  Maybe just go with it being it’s own thread.  Or even posted as a notice.  Then it can be updated round to round.

Even including spells/ inspiration on a countdown basis.

My personal favorite would be it own thread.
Would make things easy to read.

I did think of spell countdown but I did not want make to complicated an idea.
However spell countdown would be great.  Also negative effect on characters as well.

I'm not a fan of separating combat from the main thread, unless the combat itself is the start of a new chapter/act. You lose too much in continuity between game threads. I am a fan of group initiative for the party - either the party goes first (and everyone gets a chance to post before the round is advanced), or the bad guys do (and then the party posts). People with spell effects note them in their posts (bless x/x rounds, etc. like Octavia has been doing).

I think the archer bandits are dead.  Raz has cast SLEEP on the 2 remaining bandits inside the fort.  Waiting for saving throws and to see if Drez killed one of them.



Looks like we will be mounted for our exploration since we get some free horses.  I call dibbs on Happ's horse.

Oh yes.  Plenty of horses to go around.

Saddles also.  Probably mentioned in the bandits approaching post...
