If we ride along in the plains we will be more easily seen if we cut through the woods, we will have cover and possibly concealment but it will slow our progress to the camp. We will either arrive late this evening or early in the morning depending on which way you go..

You can also see the bandit on the platforms moving around and doing something. You also do not have a shot at the female bandit who just attacked your cohorts.
