OK! I've been posting on Wednesdays and Sundays. I was doing this to give you all time to post and think about your post. That hasn't been working. Either people don't post by the time it comes time for me to post, or they don't post for a whole week or two. Also, when people post in the last day, it doesn't give time for players to roleplay together before I post.

To fix this, we are going to start doing a scheduled HotD session on rpol every Sunday from 6 p.m. to 8/9 p.m. This would be much like the session held at the house when all the players were posting together and able to respond quickly. We can communicate OOC using Skype, text messages, or the OOC Discussion Thread.

OOC Discussion Example 1: You are trying to type and everyone is posting too quickly for you--shoot me a quick message and I'll ask everyone to give it a quick break to give you time to respond.

OOC Discussion Example 2: You have questions about the game or need clarification on something. Shoot me a quick message and I'll be able to answer it in real time.

I understand that not everyone will be available every Sunday. If you are not able to be at the Sunday Session (you have work, are out of town, extremely ill, etc...) then just send me a message and I'll make sure your character remains in the background or elsewhere.

This would become the new HotD Schedule:

Sunday 6-8/9 pm Group Session Online
Wednesday - Posting as normal

This would become the new Tombstone/Yellow Signs Scheduole:
Wednesday and Saturday - Posting as normal

Just to make sure I understand the change... Are we holding this real-time, rapid-fire session on Sundays in addition to posting throughout the week when we can?

Yes. This is in addition to posting throughout the week.

Some players are still in threads roleplaying the 4-Day. I don't want to slow things down by not posting Wednesday.

Things are moving too slowly, and SEVERAL players have pointed out that they are unable to roleplay with other players because of the hold up.

Example:

I post on Sunday. I tell everyone that I will post again when I get off work on Wednesday around 9:30. One person posted Monday (after my Sunday post). Another late on Tuesday, but no one else posted again until 9:00 on Wednesday. This gave about 30 minutes for the players to realize that a post had been made and respond before I continue on with the story. No actual roleplay happens.

Example 2:

Player One: Hasn't posted in 12 days. Their dragon (who is currently in roleplay with other players hasn't posted in 3 weeks).
Player Two: Hasn't posted in 3 weeks.
Neither were in finished threads/stories.
I need to do something to jump start the campaign.
