Ah! Terribly sorry, I missed the Captain of Gondor ability.

Thiriswen rolled 9 using 1d6+3.  Bow damage.

I'm going on vacation for two weeks starting tomorrow, and while I should be able to connect at my destination I expect my posting may be slower than normal.  If there comes any time my lack of action is holding things up, please NPC me to keep the action moving.

Thanks!

Back from camping.  Will move game forward tomorrow.

Will be a wrap up of this adventure, finish searching the castle and return to lake town.  Then we will have a short fellowship phase, think most of you will level or be close after I add up XP.

Start thinking bout your fellowship phase activity.  It will be limited in what you can do as it will only be about 30-60 days before we move onto the the next Adventuring Phase.

Where would you like us to post our fellowship phase action? In the same thread?

On that subject, I'm pondering meeting a Patron. How about one of the dwarves from Thorin's Company? They are influential dwarves, who would have reason to visit Lake Town and the areas around it. They might be interested in sponsoring a group of adventurers. Gloin, perhaps?

I can't think of much to do this fellowship phase. Maybe research, Dirhael isn't that familiar with the Wilderland and would like to get caught up.

Can I try and get aquaintanced with a possible patron? There's no virtue I can advance and I;m not sure yet if the kidnapping will give me some nightmares.

Should be able to get a post up later today, but will have to leave my fellowship action for my return home this weekend.  I don't have the rules with me and can't remember the specifics of what should be done for that part of the game.

Fellowship Thread will be up tonight.  Describe what you are doing and we can go back an forth in the OOC thread before you post.

As for Patrons-A few of the names dwarves from the Hobbit are possible (Certainly Gloin), Master of lake Town and if one wants to travel to Dale perhaps Bard.  At this point no Gandalf, Radagast or Major NPCs.

-----A few other things based upon the questions I have seen.

DC for your shadow check is 12  Add your WIS bonus and if you have a WIS proficiency based upon your class.  Looking at rolls-Thiriswen faied, Did not see a Shadow roll for Gundri

Halldora was from Dale not Esgaroth(Lake Town)  I'll just assume you found some merchants that can take her remains north.

Believe everyone has enough XP between the prologue and the 1st ACT to be at LVL 2.  If not PM me.

Perfect, I can escort Halldora to Dale and maybe try to get to know a patron before returning to Esgaroth. And with the DC 12 I actually passed!

Dirhael would be interested in accompanying any of the company home for the fellowhip phase, to learn more of the free peoples of the north, and possibly establish a patron

Think this is what I see for Fellowship (Some have posted and that is fine)

Agnarr, Aran, Dirhael:  Going to travel to Dale and make Bard a Patron

Gundri-Going to try and Patron Gloin

Vidor-Traveling to Erebor to train with smiths.  Will travel up and back with Agnarr, Aran and Dirhael.

Thirsiwen-Visit Sentianl Oak

Blackfeather pending when he returns from Vacation.

A few Housekeeping things

1.  Please update your Biography lines to look like mine.  Line 1 belongs to you, line 2 should have AC, HPs and your Mulligan #.  On that you get a 2nd one for going to level 2.

2.  Also refer to you to HouseRules on 'Tales of Years(Age and Family).
   a. Need you to double check you ages vs your character sheets (A few of you are still young adults and DID not take penalties)  Feel free to adjust upward.  Scribe notes is what I am tracking as your ages.

   b. Ensure that any spouses, children or siblings are annotated on character sheets. At this point only tracking Dirhael as married

3.  Vidar refer to House Rules on Dwarf and Elf made items; you'll be doing "Study with an Apprentice Craftsman"  Normally this is along Fellowship event but will let you do this for our first attempt at a Fellowship phase.

4.  Going to start cleaning up the PVT threads to make them a bit more manageable.  Make sure you pull your history and anything else you want to your character sheet or the scratch pad-Will be setting up a PM with your characters name and will do m best to pull the 'old' data over as well.

Back home now!  In response to the Loremaster's last post:

Fellowship Phase - return to Rhosgobel and study to increase herbal knowledge (gain Poison Remedies under Herbal Remedies cultural virtue).  Will post something in the Fellowship thread over the next day or two.

The experience gain is enough to push The Blackfeather to 2nd level.  Will look after that in the next couple of days.

With regard to aging, The Blackfeather started as Mature (just).  If I read things correctly, the bonuses/penalties only apply when you shift from one category to another, so I think no ability score change is required.  Please advise if I've got that wrong.

Here and alive-In the last 72 hours family has decided to buy a new house. House hunting and work have consumed my time

Apologize for being hit or miss for awhile.  Intent is to catch up on sleep this weekend and wrap up the fellowship phase.

Probably not going to start the next adventure phase until after we find the new house.

No intention of quitting-just may slow down a bit.

Cheers!

Crazy..Crazy last 7 days.  From my landlords deciding that they wanted to move back into the house a year earlier than expected to realizing we had to buy a house 1 year earlier than "The Plan', to actually finding and getting a house.

Have house now, will close on it mid June-so things should get back to semblance of normalcy.  Updates shortly!

Fellowship phase is done, send me a note if I have anything wrong.

Need a few more to finis level up.  Everyone gets another Mulligan for 2.

Also if you roll below 1/2 on your HPs round up to the midpoint. Saw a few bad rolls on the page.

Will start next adventuring phase tomorrow.
