Not sure what you're referring to. OW uses the same crunchiness as DW only taken to the next level, but the stats are very similar. From pages 145 and 150 in the core DW rulebook:
Table 5-5 Astartes Shotgun, range of 30m
Table 5-6 Astartes frag grenade, range of SBx3
My understanding is that we're using FFG Star Wars-style narrative range brackets in this game (as stated in the rules thread), so I'm just trying to figure out the conversion. Medium range is described as "Most reliable pistols can reach this far" and three of the more common pistols (bolt, auto, las) have a range of 30m, so I figure any weapon with a range of 30m should be treated as having a Medium range. Rather convenient that your average 41 Str Space Marine would also have a throwing range of 30m, but such is game design. Maybe we could use the following model for weapon ranges:
<15m is Short
<50m is Medium
<100m is Long
everything else would be Extremely Long; since that's almost(?) exclusively heavies, launchers and snipers, I think that's reasonable
I guess there's also the question of whether we get the same to-hit bonuses for targets in the Short range band and penalties for Long and Extremely Long. We get it for PB/engaged, but I didn't see anything for the others.
