Currently Gren is with Tilly Marsh, leading her Tishi.

Here I will chronicle a little portion of Tishi's life from the time Kerrick and Gren leave the Deepmire, until they all meet again, for our readers who want to learn more about him. If you want to know more about Tishi, and potentially his people, feel free to read on. If you don't give a rat's ass, feel free to completely skip this thread.

Tishimalijihuktwan watches the two leave, his hand automatically finding the two red stones in their secret place and begins moving them around in his hand with a smooth circular motion.

"Peace. Peace... please. They mean no harm."

As the stones begin orbiting his hand faster and faster he begs and pleads with them. He dances. Broken leg or no, he dances, the ancestors will not be denied.

Later that night he finally collapsed of exhaustion. The stars swirled overhead and voices from the past came and called at him from the shadows in the swamp.

He finally fell into a feverish sleep that left him cold and clammy in the wan morning sun.

Tishi stoked the fire and sat shivering until the cold was driven from his bones and cried. It wasn't his fault he was born this way. All the old tales were just that, old tales... weren't they?

After a miserable breakfast he groomed the debris out of his hair and tested his leg. It was sore, but usable.

Tishi went slowly through his stretching routine, taking extra time to slowly work the knots out if his injured leg.

He thought about his two visitors from the day before as he did so. It was taboo for the stilsi to involve themselves with other races, but he'd been born a taboo, hadn't he?

"Oh well. They seem to be good people and not the evil monsters I was always taught. I will see with open eyes."

When he was done stretching, he decided his leg felt good enough to hunt, and so he did.

Later he relaxed by his fire with a Bogwooly tail and wild potatoes grilling beside it, sending out a mouth watering aroma. He felt better than he had in days.

Unfolding his Grass Twist he began the song of animus. He would do a little exploring today while his food cooked.

Tishi watched through the eyes of the Twist as the new woman expertly dispatches the vine creature.

"That was impressive." He says to himself. "I'll have to remember that."

She efficiently strips the useful meat out of the tail and claws of the animal, wrapping it in a broad leaves from a nearby tree.

He knows now where the two are headed and grins. He would see if he could arrange a little surprise for Dumdum.

Tishi brings his Twist back in and carefully deactivates it, puts it away and waits for his two visitors to arrive.

**Continues in Gren's Solo.**

Gren leads Tilly to the little campsite Tishi is resting at. They chat for a while, giving Tishi the food.

A stilsi in this area of the world is unheard of. The only reason Tilly knowing about them is due to her adventuring days long ago.

Tishi insists on giving back what he has stolen, and then meet Gren and Tilly in a few days at Tilly's house.

Tilly and Gren returns to town.

Gren heads to Kerrick's house to wait for him to return.

While Kerrick assists Grisham to deal with the problem in the crypts, Gren busies himself with raiding Kerrick's cupboards and making himself comfortable on the couch.

After Gren's third nap of the day, he jumps up remembering he didn't receive his money from helping Tilly find the stirsi.

He straps on his backpack and heads back out to the edge of town. When he arrives, Tilly immediately gives him the money she promised.

With the money, he returns to town and purchases his puppy. He and the runt wolfhound return to Kerrick's house.

After Kerrick leaves, Gren cleans the little cabin and puts things back. The glass cup he broke will have to be replaced when he gets some more money, so he takes the shards, wraps them in a rag and puts the bundle in his backpack.

Gren shoulders his little backpack, picks up his puppy and walks down the street to the bookstore where he works.

Walking in the door he smiles at Mrs. Barnaby.

"Good morning Mrs. Barnaby! I finally got my pup!"

He walks behind the counter, dumps his pack on the floor before the tinkling of broken glass reminds him of Kerrick's cup he needs to replace.

Opening the blanket he has the tiny puppy wrapped up in, he offers it to the store owner for inspection.

"Oh my! Isn't he cute!" She gently rubs the sleeping puppy's forehead with a pudgy finger, making him yawn and stretch. "Find a spot for him to sleep while you help me shelve these books."

Gren spends the next few hours puttering around the bookstore and chatting with the older woman about the carnival and all the awesome things he hopes to see there.

+$6 for two hours work

Gren takes the money, goes to the general store and finds a suitable cup to replace the one he broke. Taking it back to Kerrick's house he puts it away, leaving a note on the table for his friend and heads back to his own house.

Gren finds something to put food and water in for the puppy and makes him a small bed up on his own for it to sleep in.

After that he puts together a little meal for himself of a heel of bread, some cheese and a glass of water.

He finishes eating and takes a nap with Runner, waiting for Kerrick to show up so they could head to the carnival.

Gren smiles down at the little puppy curled up against his side and strokes his head. The pup wakes and stretches out. Gren takes him outside for a while then puts his cloak on and ties his belt pouch on.

He puts together a makeshift collar and leash, then heads to the carnival. Stopping by Kerrick's house, he sees that it's empty and continues on his way.

He wanders around for a while, gawking wide-eyed at all the exotic people and merchandise. Finally he comes across Kerrick, and notices the little goat-thing at his side.

Gren spends his days looking after his puppy, wandering around the carnival and is especially excited about the bones Kerrick is digging up. Whatever it was, when it was alive it was huge!!

He spends quite a bit of time with the giant jaloo woman, Sury, and they make a very odd pair.

One day while sauntering down the road towards his friend's project, he comes across a tall man talking with Kerrick...
