Finally with a moment to herself, Chos retired to her quarters. Rest, however, was not on her mind this evening. Chos needed to make some calls.

She started with old acquaintances on Nar Shadda, moved on to even older colleagues from Mon Cala. No one wanted to touch her, not with the stink of the Empire and the Hutts still wanting her head. A lone Jedi could only do so much, to really shake things up Chos needed to establish herself on a galactic scale. To do that, she needed some product and for that she needed capital, and lots of it.

If conventional revenue streams wouldn't do, Chos had to think outside the box. Her old contacts weren’t willing to part with their credits but they were willing to part with some information. According to her sources, there was only one man rich enough and brash enough to take a chance on her. Aaron Bentley.

He was a former industrialist, she had learned, a brilliant weapons designer who cut his teeth with Seinar fleet systems before striking out on his own. Now, he built custom turbo-lasers for the highest bidders. Imps, hutts, gangs, and rebels. He didn't care. A man crazy enough to play all sides may just be crazy enough to back a disgraced Mon Calamari noble. Regardless, there was only one way to find out.

Chos was able to get his whereabouts out of one of her contacts. Or, rather, where Bentley would be next. Alderaan, the royal gala, in just a few days time. Chos knew that would be her best chance.
