During breaks in the action like the one we have now and we have some choices, how does that work?  Do we just pick one option per scene or one per day or just pick one and you let us know if we pick again?

Typically you can only choose one.  However, if you look back at previous posts (like the last game year) you can see where you add your own dialogue and actions and descriptions of things.  Also, it helps to add in your character's thoughts or emotions.  Some NPC reactions will also be based on the character's intentions or motivations.

Yes, he would get the same.  That was an error on my part.  That whole post took me the better part of two hours to write due to referencing a whole bunch of stuff, so I forgot things here and there.

So for Winter Phase step 2.  Are the things we need to roll for our experience checks, the items with the asterisks? Or were we supposed to be going through and noting that stuff ourselves?

4. Survival... you can roll for your parents.  They might die, or age out soon anyway.  But for story purposes it would work to stagger the dates of things around a little.
