That's, supposedly, where my surname comes from. Granted my great great grandpa supposedly change it to that while he was trying to avoid a bigamy charge for abandoning his first wife, so who knows.

One of my aunts did it so idk how accurate it is.

Years ago, one of my dad's cousins traced our family line back as far as an 18th century man in County Mayo, Ireland who was executed for stealing horses from the British army. More recently, my parents did DNA tests and found some interesting family connections that we didn't know we had, but I don't remember hearing more about the horse thief.

We, Ledo and I, will be off to see the grandson this weekend. So I'll see y'all Monday, maybe Sunday.

He is 20 months old today. Sadly he's been battling an ear infection, his father had to have tubes and his tonsils removed, so he was a little under the weather, but otherwise we had a good time.

I have to be at work early, they wanted me in at 0400, but a man's gotta eat and and old man has to have his coffee first. I talked them into as soon as possible.

I'll try to make a post tonight.

I also learned we play in another game here in rPol.

RPoL in time is getting quite a smaller place to be and you can easily find the same people over and over in different games :)
I actually quite like the idea of creating a sort of small circle of "trusted" people that won't ghost in a game and that sometimes plays, some other times runs the game... in fact I have these threads link to a message in this game in my campaigns.

Thanks for the info. I probably shouldn't be getting involved in another PbP site though. I'm in more than enough games here on RPOL. Sounds like a cool setup for an Arthurian game though!
