I lost mu mojo! it's okay now--I stole someone else's. They weren't using it anyway.

It sure feels that way! Don't know if it was just a slow recovery or what, but I haven't been getting enough sleep and so I wind up tired all day (which is more mentally tired) and find it hard to post or even read posts some times.

So, getting caught up on my games has been hard. I was having a hard time figuring out where I was going to go with a game sometimes.

I kept procrastinating on this one while I tried to decide what to do next.

Finally seem to have turned a corner on Friday. Now I just hope it isn't a dead end!

Looks like it's time to pull the plug on this game.

I don't know whether STA just doesn't lend itself to RPoL (there are no other STA games out there) or whether I just never quite got a handle on it. Mostly it was probably because I just couldn't post frequently enough to keep everybody's interest.

It gets down to KEEP POSTING to let me know you are still interested. Otherwise, I lose interest, too.

I'll let it sit here for another week before I delete it. If anyone still wants to revive it, I'll give it one more try.

if the others are still around I would be interested in continuing.

the most successful Star Trek game here has multiple gms though, so I think that one reason why it's been so successful, if one gm is goen another is usually aware of whats going on so can keep it going

Apologies once again. Just had a bad week for posting. Wednesday a week ago, our dog passed away. He was 15, so old. Went down hill pretty quickly, within a week. So it wasn't unexpected, but we're still missing him.

I was also waiting for Eclipse to post and lead the team. She may have abandoned the game, however.

sorry about the unexpected absence and your loss Star master though it seems pet troubles are contagious, just had one of my cats diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and he's 15 years old, plus my 3d printer has been acting up a lot which is problematic as I have two big upcoming craft shows, plus getting ready for another Wisconsin winter so had to clear out the garage to get my car and my moms minivan back in for the first time since this spring, I'll try to post tomorrow as that's probably going to be the only free day I have till next week.

Had another drawback of sorts... Had an unexpected out of town house guest last week, an old gaming buddy from up North that I hadn't seen in almost 20 years.

Spent a lot of time catching up.

In my 20+ years of PbP gaming on various sites, it was generally accepted that posting between Thanksgiving and New Year's Day diminished considerably due to Holidaze, work schedule changes, family, shopping, putting up decorations, etc. For that reason, expectations for timely posts was kind of put on hold.

In my case, this didn't usually apply to me, but this year, I seem to have hit a down cycle. It's probably a combination of age + health + meds + diet + environment + Holidaze. So, just bear with me while I sort it all out and hopefully get back on track in the new year.

Not to mention Covid, inflation, etc.  Fun times these are.

I can barely drag myself out of the house for work, and I like my job.  Totally get it.

my primary delay had been again trouble shooting my 3d printer, aswell as when it's been working trying to get ready for a 2 day show starting tomorrow.

Belated Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone. Neither of those have happened to me yet.

Another glitch in my posting... seems I've pinched my sciatic nerve in the past week. So my legs hurt, especially the right one. Just makes it hard to sit and type on my laptop.

Anyway, just taking a survey to see if anyone wants to continue this game. Too many players have dropped this game since I started it, so I may not be doing a good enough job GMing to keep people's interest.

Me still here, too! I've always been more of a Star Trek fan than a Star Wars fan, but I can see how it could be harder to role-play Star Trek characters. That's why I tend to play an engineer! I can do the technobabble pretty good, even if that's a poor substitute for actual role-playing.

Sorry gang.  Omicron has hit my area and half the staff at my job were out sick the past two weeks.  The remaining half was expected/is expected to somehow do the work of 2 people each...

No problem. Things have been out of sorts for me, too.

Haven't been sleeping well for over a month now, which makes me a mental zombie all day long. Makes it hard to post, and I lose track of what I was doing in my games.
