You can use the bow as a quarterstaff for melee or I'll allow switching as a bonus action to a melee weapon.

There are ways to do ranged aoo but you'll have to gain feats or weapons for such a thing.

You can use an arrow as a dagger, I'll allow that too

May I suggest not to wait for players that take a week or more to post, they simply lose their action for this round or are delayed

I wasnt, and was about tto move it along when Luther posted here so I delayed again.

I thought I'd mention (in case it isn't obvious) that the only reason we don't have anyone keen to be a 'leader' is because we don't have a single frontline character in the party, and I suspect everyone is a bit sheepish about 'leading' by telling another backliner to be first through a door. lol :)
