Main Street - Foxtrot Dance Hall and Bar

Think of every cowboy western ever written in the history of B movies, including the spaghetti westerns. Now, amp up the Kitsch by 1000 and you have the Foxtrot Dance Hall and Bar.

All the old cowboy actors of yore hang proudly along the wall, none of them signed of course, because what actor would set foot in a small town miles from anywhere? Wagon wheel tables with chairs made out of wooden beer kegs dot the room. All the waitresses (all one of her), wear boots with spurs, a denim cowboy style shirt with pearl buttons, and a short gingham square-dance skirt.

Her name is Katey, and she hates you so don't even.

The bar is the typical brass with green glass style, complete with a handle-bar mustachioed bartender who is constantly wiping a glass that needs no cleaning.

Next to a beat up upright piano is a fairly generous amount of scuffed dance floor, should you want to shake a leg.

Three Men

Main Street - Foxtrot Dance Hall and Bar

There're three men sitting near the piano at the back of the bar. The first man is a man in a bib overall who looks to weight about 350 pounds. His belly makes him have to sit with his legs spread wide. He is constantly mopping his forehead with a red handkerchief and has a florid expression. He's drinking a mug of what looks like beer and pawing at a bowl of pretzels in the middle of the table. He tisks and turns to his friend saying, "Heard that little Jane had a robbery at her store."

His companion, a short, bald man wearing a blue and white checkered shirt and faded blue jeans nods. "That's true. Looks like her cook up and quit too. Bless her heart."

The other man at the table, a tall thin man who seems to have stolen all the hair from his companions and liberally applied it to his face, head and body, grunted and shook his head. "Always a problem around this time. People disappear every ten years around this time. Bet it's because of all the tourists."

Two Pretty Girls

Main Street - Foxtrot Dance Hall and Bar

There are two pretty girls sitting at a table next to the door of the bar. Neither of them are drinking alcohol. Each has a glass of water sitting in front of them. Bill the bartender keeps throwing them the stink eye. They studiously ignore him.

The first girl, a candy fluff of a person with light pink hair and big blue eyes was twirling a lock of her hair around her finger and looking at the door expectantly.

The second girl, a less confectionary looking person with a brown paige-boy hair cut and serious brown eyes shook her head. "I don't think he's coming."

The first girl pouted and took a sip of water. She then fingers the necklace she is wearing. It spells out "Jewel" in fancy script. She is wearing a bright turquoise dress that hugs whatever isn't being revealed by the skimpy cut of the neckline or the short hemline. She crosses her leg and swings her foot nervously. Her feet are clad in chunky wedge sandals that match her dress.

"Aren't you going to work today?" the second girl asks.

Jewel shakes her head and pouts again, "I want to wait for him."
