Just as an FYI we are getting relatively close to the end of the module. Assuming quick responses and progress I could see us moving to the actual AP by November.
now that you've had a chance to play around with your random characters I am no longer holding you to a requirement to continue those characters or RNG a new character. We've had some obstacles, we've had some combat, we've had some good characterization.
So going forward there are a couple of things to consider:
- Do you want to keep your character or create a new one?
- If creating a new one, do you want to follow the same RNG pattern or create a more standard one using 15-point buy?
Independent of that, everyone has unlocked their 3rd traits for the campaign. You have to look at the Player's guide because neither Archives of d20pfsrd have them posted ubt here is a quick summary:
Accidental Clone - +1 trait bonus to Bluff and Diplomacy as well as 1/chapter you can add +20 to a single saving throw vs. mind-affecting effects after learning the aoutcome.
Audrahni's Ally - you have a connection to a major NPC for the adventure. In addition to knowing more about her backstory than others would, 1/chapter you can cast one of these spells at your character level: calm emotions, cure moderate wounds, lesser restoration
Close Allies - You and another PC are close friends. Both of you have to take it. Whenever you are adjacent to your ally, gain +1 trait bonus to all saving throws. 1/chapter you can grant your close ally a bonus equal to 1d6 to their 1d20 roll. This bonus can be granted after the roll but before results are known.
Intrigued by Thassilon - You gain Thassilonian as a bonus language, and at 1st (and every odd level) you gain a bonus skill rank that can only be applied to: Know(Arcana), Know(History), Linguistics, or UMD. 1/chapter you can EITHER take a 20 on a UMD check OR activate a charged magic item without expending any charges.
Scion of Legend - You have a link to a hero from a previous AP (Shattered Star or Rise of the Runelords). Choose two skills. You get +1 on them and they're both class skills. 1/chapter as a free action you can gain an insight bonus equal to your level (minimum +10) to a skill check. Can apply after roll but before results known.
Spirit Touched - had a close encounter with ghosts/undead etc. You gain +2 bonus on all saving throws against supernatural attacks, spells, or SLA from undead. 1/adventure you can automatically succeed at a Con check to stabilize or a saving throw to remove negative levels.
Time Lost - Gain +2 trait bonus on initiative checks. 1/adventure as immediate action you can use your connection to time to force the GM to reroll a d20.
