CHAPTER FOUR

You are somewhere in Manhattan.

Where are you, exactly?

First person to respond gets to say where this chapter is going to take place... It's a race! Go! (after the first player responds, everyone else clam up until my next post...)

That'll do fine...

...Now, your identity is not particularly secret, am I remembering that right?

Not secret at all. He doesn't advertise, of course, but is completely open about it.

(Okay, Goodwill, you're outside, on the NYU campus... what are you doing? What are you wearing?)

Re: CHAPTER FOUR

I picture him on line for registering for classes, in jeans and a t-shirt, and maybe his high school varsity jacket.

Re: CHAPTER FOUR

Almost always, in my experience. Sometimes they even set up tables outside.

Re: CHAPTER FOUR

Meanwhile, in another part of the city. Saul was trying to make things work out at the court. He don't know how he did it, but he got invited to the basketball court after school by some of the popular guys at school

He was stuck around an alleyway, trying to figure out if he needed to be punctual or not. He didn't want to annoy, but he also didn't want to be a brown-nose. What would get him the respect he aimed for?
Aww shoot, this would almost be easier if they were a bunch of goons. He could just become Scorch Scale, find the biggest guy, and make an example of him. The rest would crumple.

But he shook his head, no, friends should be easier than stopping crime, surely?

(Heh heh in my part of the world it's too hot to make anyone stand outside in August and everyone's too sensitive to even a little cold to do so in January, so that never happens. But in NYC i can imagine it... So...)

Our hero (and Scraps) is (are) on line at NYU, registering for classes, when someone comes up to him...

(Is this person male or female?)
