I'll be accepting three to four players to begin with this game. The premise for character creation is the following:
The characters are really young (kids, 'genin' if we were to use modern shinobi nomenclature) who ended up living in the Healing Rain Temple for some reason, be it a tragedy that befell their families, to run away from the constant war and violence, maybe he was sent by their family to train and become someone, or he got expelled.
What most people don't realize is that martial arts is also taught in the Temple to a few select people. Also, the temple is also a safe haven not only for humans, but all sorts of mystical creatures. The temple's leader, Tian Long, not only teaches what people would call a complete shinobi program (Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, Genjutsu, etc), but he also executes all sorts of strange experiments, mostly medical.
The characters are apprentices of Tian Long. They arrived in the Temple at six (6) or less years old. They'll start with no shinobi training at all. The character sheet will be created in the beginning of the game.
The characters can be orphans or belong to any clan. Just remember that we're on the Sengoku Jidai era, there's a lot of clans and a great balance of power. While it's truth that some clans are more powerful, it's not my a great margin. For the same reason, a lot of Jutsus are yet to be developed.
There's no guarantee that this game will follow Naruto's chain of events, but that's also not an impossibility.
There will be a great emphasis in writing on this game. Apply to play only if you're willing to write.
